well we have signed one rookie now, so I guess Snyder is ready to write the checks.
Yeah, there's generally a lot less haggling with lower-round picks.
BTW, I hope you were tongue-in-cheek with that comment about Snyder being ready to write the checks!:cheeky-sm

From today's Washington Post:
Gibbs warned about the perils of training camp holdouts, with Washington yet to sign its top three draft picks. Safety Sean Taylor, selected fifth overall, has yet to choose an agent. "For a guy to be shortsighted enough," Gibbs said, "or let an agent tell somebody we're going to hold out here and maybe throw away the first part of the year, it's going to affect him in the wallet and it's going to affect the team. . . . But there are just certain agent groups, they're going to hold them out and they think that's the way to go." . . .
If Taylor holds out it would be a huge mistake on his part. I really hope he's not that dumb.
He's going to be a big part of the D, we really need him in there on day 1.

I thnk Gibbs will make it clear to him that there will be huge ramification if he holds out. Both in playing time and monetarily. I wish we knew why he got rid of Rosenhaus.
