offiss 11-13-2006, 11:30 AM It's funny how people like you keep rehashing the same arguments over and over again in multiple threads without actually using any reading comprehension skills whatsoever. We could be debating how I prefer pie or the answer to question #3 and you'd find someway of working in how you prefer Ramsey as your man crush over sweet cherry pie. We get it...you are in love with Patrick Ramsey. Just admit it and get it over with so the rest of us can actually have a mature, adult conversation.
If YOU say so! Intelligent conversation? With you? Stop it your killing me!
Bottom line you don't like the fact that someone has a different opinion than you, and your problem is you can't back up your opinions because your opinion is Brunell and Gibbs are the goods, and nothing they have done in 3 years since they arrived backs that up, intelligent conv. for you is everyone chat's and agrees with you regardless of fact.
So in ending I didn't ask you to join in this conv, you did that on your own, here's a real simple solution, if you don't like what someone has to say don't respond to it, stick with the Gibbs is god, and Brunell is the man crowd, you find it much less stressfull.
Grimm is right, whether or not you want to ackowledge that is up to you.
I guess I got under your skin today, huh, Matty?
I wasn't the one that said:
"The message is the team is going to fight through until the season is officially out of reach".
After this post you cannot question anybody's football IQ period.
Who got under who's skin?
If Brunell is still starting next week what do you think the message is? Gibbs has already alluded to the fact that wants the team to continue fighting as they did in 2004, so how far fetched is my post really?
BrunellMVP? 11-13-2006, 11:31 AM I watch him on interviews all the time, this guy is a great speaker and believes in everything the redskins are doing. Hes layed it all out for this team, and does not stop believing. I almost hate seeing this criticism of a guy whos had a great career, and no ring. But at the same time we got to do whats best for this great franchise. I was and still am a Brunell supporter. Hate me all you want to, this guy is all class, a true team player, never complains and theres no controversy with him. He just tries to win week in and week out. Unfortunately he's not getting it done, and yep im in total agreement that it is time for a switch. I just pray that JC is the answer. Sorry if this thread is similar to the others. Lets go SKINS
can you define "tough as nails"?
i do not see a guy that can take hits and keep going, i see a guy scared to get hit (happy feet) and a guy, that when he does get hit, usually doesn't practice for the next 3 days.
TheMalcolmConnection 11-13-2006, 11:32 AM It IS the truth, much to the chagrin of the entire Redskins populace. I just wish that putting Campbell in didn't equate to giving up on the season. Why not just trying to give the team a better chance to win?
Twilbert07 11-13-2006, 11:33 AM Brunell says pass protection yesterday was fine; therefore, it's all on him:
"I didn't play as well as I needed to," he said. "I thought our offensive line did a good job pass protecting. We ran the ball well. We needed to be more consistent in the passing game." The problem is, at this stage of his career, Brunell doesn't appear capable of playing as well as he needs to -- that is, well enough to take the Redskins deep into the playoffs.

TheMalcolmConnection 11-13-2006, 11:33 AM He did face some decent pressure all day, but it's like if his first option isn't open, it's dump off city.

Fine, I will not say anything else about this since all I do is "exaggerate" and I have no football IQ.
I know nothing, Matty Brunell knows everything.
All of you do me a favor. Listen to Doc Walker on the John Thompson show today. 3:00 on Sportstalk 980.
This is somebody who has won a World Championship and knows more about football than all of you self proclaimed experts squared. And not only does he know more about football, he is a first hand expert (not a self proclaimed expert who can create a website) on Redskins football.
Listen to his viewpoint on the current situation. I want to see all of you self proclaimed high football IQ people discount him.
skinsguy 11-13-2006, 11:38 AM The QB position has the greatest ability to dictate the result of the game. Ours gave us negative points yesterday, therefore we were humiliated.
And when did I ever say that a QB would come in here and fix all of our problems? That would be an idiotic statement. Now our offensive problems lie with our hurt over the hill QB.
If Manning came here he would add 100 pages to the playbook. The guy is a coach on the field and I am in awe of how his ability to run an offense.
You're contradicting yourself in one post. Obviously you think that the QB can dictate if we win or lose, which basically says it doesn't matter what other problems we have, the QB can fix it all.
All I'm saying is, a better QB can help us and give us a spark, but this is a team sport, and he needs help from his offensive line to protect him. The Packers have been a great example of that....Farve is probably one of THE BEST QBs ever to play the game, and looked how he had struggled with his team in recent years. Now that he has gotten some better pass protection, the team is starting to win more games. The problems at QB is just part of the problem, but the lone solution. If Campbell comes in and lights it up, it does help us and it does give us a better chance at winning games, but he needs help from our OL and our defense.

Couldn't you be like "Fan4Life" and just not post anymore?
I've moved from my usual YAWN to SNORE.
