Chris36, I suggest you abandon ship on your "Gregg Williams sucks" kick. It's sinking fast and you don't want to go down with it. You are not helping your credibility.

The defense was ranked fith that year. His offense was ranked 31st. That means opposing teams had to score, very little.

Let's put this into context.... What really is taken to consideration when talking about GW? The real issue is whether or not you want to keep him. As an owner... You've got to hold on to him. He is a proven NFL caliber coach, and one bad year plagued by injuries, does not require you abandon ship.

Whereas you can't use Pierson's injury as an excuse... don't exclude it as a non-factor.

The blame game can go to anyone... but if you ask me I think the problem is more likely the talent on the field, as opposed to the coaching. Does some of that burden go onto the coach, absolutley... but he by no mean has "lost his touch".

I just want to thank Jason Witten for being an idiot tight-end and allowing Troy Vincent to block that idiot kicker's FG attempt.

I don't know how you can judge Williams' defense in Buffalo considering that a few minutes ago you didn't even know where else he coached. BTW, the Buffalo D was fierce.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but G. Williams coached in a Super Bowl and did a decent job in slowing down the "greatest show on turf" in that game.

Guys were arguing over Greg Williams, hes brought our D to great heights his first year and the year after that, by no means has he "lost his touch" thats very ignorant statement, this guy knows what he's doing and if Joe gives up the ropes in the next few seasons i would dare say that Dan Snyder would put him at head coach. However with some offensive help, and Al Saunders offense with a QB and a descent O line could get some exictement back into this organization and fans. Lets not give up on these guys yet. GO SKINS

The coaches are to blame. No other organization has coaches that have more control than the Redskins. I have never liked GW's style of defense, because it has always been vulnerable to the big play. The coaches for other teams dont hire the players like they do in Washington. On top of the players playing like s**t, they are undisciplined and kill themselves with penalties.

If you know anything about football you can see that Williams is not the problem. The playeres are playing horrible. And although we are giving up a lot of yardage we are not giving up a ton of points. I blame more of this season on the offense.

i was at the game yesterday, and the redskins hardly blitzed at all. this was greg williams m.o. in the last two seasons defense. play hard, get to the ball, and be aggressive( i.e - bltz the hell out of the opponent) why all of a sudden did we stop blitzing?

Those aren't all Saunders' calls. Gibbs is heavily involved in the playcalling as well. This offense still reeks of Gibbs v2.0.

Zero TDs in division roadgames this year is inexcusable. All the division losses are on the offense. Gibbs needs to stay away from offensive playcalling, period. Let the old man just manage the players (clearly his strength), and leave the offense to Saunders.

This is where I totally agree.

The "O" looks exactly like last years.

No production during December.

Gibbs needs to let go!
