BrunellMVP?

Let's put our suckiness in perspective. Our offensive line's pass protection is very inconsistent, so whoever our QB is, they're going to have a rough time. Secondly, with Portis being hurt off and on this year, our running game has been inconsistent. When you're running game is inconsistent, that naturally puts more pressure on the QB. Thirdly, Brunell hasn't played awful or horrible this year, but he hasn't played great. He's been inconsistent as well, and that INT he threw today should've never been thrown by a veteran QB. Overall, I just don't see Mark Brunell being a good fit in this offense. I think if we had just added Loyd and ARE, and had kept the simple Gibbs offense from a year ago, we would have been just fine. Saunder's playcalling works when all the parts are consistent, but it's very suspect when the players aren't executing.

The defense has surprised me the most. The poor tackling and shotty secondary play are not characteristics of a GW defense. Even though our secondary play can be attributed to injuries, there is no excuse for the poor tackling. What happened to swarming to the ball?

So I guess what I am saying is, it's everybody's fault. It's Gibbs's fault, Saunders' fault, Williams's fault, and every player who suits up to play for us. Benching one player isn't going to fix all of our problems, although at this point , there is no reason NOT to put Campbell in now. At least give him some experience.

Firing coaches isn't the answer. I think we need to work on our offensive line, and Williams needs to teach the defense how to tackle. Until either one of those happens, expect more shotty play from our team.

HE SUCKS! plain and simple. there is not excuse..he offers no benefits. smart decisions?!?!? he has no future on an NFL field, time to move forward. bring on the second coming, lets see what JC has...

I'm not sure if it is the play calling or the execution.

I'm not sure if it is MB's inability to look downfield or the WR's inability to make MB see them.

I'm not sure our O can make a big play.

I'm not sure if our O-line knows how to block or for that matter, how to block!

I'm not sure our D knows what to do about "big" plays.

I'm not sure if it was the rain, or the mud today.

I'm not sure if it was the e-girls or us.

I'm not sure if it was A. Saunders or G. Williams.

I'm not sure if C. Portis can play with a broken hand!

And none of us have seen J.Campbell taking live fire, so we aren't sure about his ability.

But we can all be sure that our season is about over, and we don't have much of a Draft to look forward to!

I agree, it's been a team effort all year. We've had piss poor performances from all the units at some point. You win as a team and lose as one, and we are definitely losing as one right now. I can't name anyone on either side of the ball that's been consistently good all year.

And boy, how many of us thought at the beginning of the season we would be where we are, or be saying the things we're saying about our team. One thing is for certain, we can't bench everybody because we still have eight more games to play. We are what we are, and that's not very good. There is plenty of blame to go around, not just the players but the coaching staff as well. Everybody has to take a look at themselves and share in what's wrong. I'm not convinced it's going to be fixed this year, but it will get fixed if they make the commitment.
