I think eveyone is playing bad or the team wouldn't be losing. Whether it is the O-line which has been together for 2 years (unthinkable these days), to a hurt RB (or not playing one you traded a 3rder for), to a QB that has a high passer rating b/c his longest throw is 5yds & his best completion was to the wrong team, to a coach who makes bad play calls, to defense that can't tackle, can't sack a QB, can't catch an interception, and to the refs who are afraid to reverse a call. From here on out, it is about pride. Who has it, who doesn't!

i looked at your thread starter, so you're point is basically 'before you but blame on one player....we should work on our offensive line and teach the defense how to tackle". got it, maybe you should send those pictures to Joe Bugel and G.Williams.
Those are just a couple of things that I have seen that we do need to work on. However, our problems are not limited to what I have mentioned.

yeah and i said this:
no one has said Campbell will fix the whole team. nobody. but he's a potential fix to the QB problem, that we can do RIGHT NOW. just like getting Troy Vincent was an attempt at shoring up the safety position, will it fix the whole team? no. but its a START
I certainly agree that Campbell COULD BE a potential fix in regards to having a QB who is just as much a playmaker as well as one who plays smart. I believe Brunell plays smart football (for the most part), but no longer a playmaker.
Again, my thread was a blanket statement. I have no idea why you're getting such an attitude about it.

I can understand why people might have attitudes today, tomorrow and thereafter until the start of next season.

One thing I know for certain...
Jason Campbell is not some cure-all that's going to come in and throw a million bombs.
This team is bad... it may not be that cut and dry... but it's true.

Sean Taylor, one of last week's heroes, definitely gets a lot of the blame today. He fgot totally burned on the Stallworth TD; had two idiotic 15-yard penalties; looked like a ragdoll trying to tackle on the hook-and-ladder TD and all around missed tackles. What's up with this Jeckle & Hyde?

I wonder if some of these guys on both sides of the ball are playing with such an apparent lack of enthusiasm based on their confidence in the QB? Does anyone here think MB is inspiring anyone on the team? Without a leader the team is going nowhere.

i agree with all your statements, again, i think everyone here knows how pervasive our problems are on this team. it seemed like this thread was a reaction to all the calls for Brunell's head, as if they felt that would fix all our problems and i was just saying nobody thought that.

I don't.

Exactly. Brunell inspires no one. He looks like he doesn't care what happens out there. We all mellow with age. Perhaps he's over-mellowed. We need a fiery leader at the QB position.
