MTK 11-12-2006, 11:49 AM discuss the game here today RedskinRat 11-12-2006, 12:24 PM From PFT: In our view, we think that the Redskins' use of Portis is no different than the Falcons' efforts to cram the round peg of Mike Vick's talent into the square hole of the West Coast offense. Yeah, Al Saunders is famous (sort of) for his offensive attack. But the challenge when taking the playbook to a new town is to adapt the offense to the strengths of the players who'll run it. It could be that Saunders and the 'Skins have gotten the message. ESPN's Sal Paolantonio reports that Portis will be the focal point of the game plan on Sunday against the Eagles, and that fullback Mike Sellers will be used as a lead blocker in the hopes of clearing Philly's linebackers out of the way, allowing Portis to get through to the secondary. That's exactly what we need to see. Oh, and the D needs to find its 'A' game. I LOVE THE REDSKINS 11-12-2006, 12:38 PM Game Day Lets Go Boys...d Neeeds To Get To Mcnabb And Our Secondary Neeeds To Play Mistake Free Football. We Need To Utilize Our Weapons On Offense And Give Brunell Time To Do Execute. We've Beat Them Last Year At There Place When Everything Was On The Line And Its That Kinda Game Today, We Need It Boys...lets Go Redskins Lets Take It To Philly..... 3-6 Or 4-5 Huge Game Today.... Redskinnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnssssssssss...kill Sean Kill Redskins_P 11-12-2006, 12:57 PM We've scored 22 points 3 games in a row......we will definitely need more than 22 to beat the Eagles IMO. As much as I want us to grind it out and run the ball....we will have to make some big plays downfield and keep their defense off balance. I almost hate to say this (because statistically we suck) but I think our D will step up today and make some stops. Hopefully it will be bend but don't break. Citizens for 81 11-12-2006, 01:02 PM A must win today. New York will go down to a pissed-off bears team and yes, the cowgirls will get beaten as well. I just got back from the store after getting game day "supplies" and ran into a bunch of cardinals fans. Today is Pat Tillman day and nothing gets people out here more fired up than Tillman. For the first time ever, the cards fans will show up and this will not be the usual home game for the cowgirls. NYCSkin 11-12-2006, 01:18 PM So after two duds on the road versus NFC East opponents--I am bracing for the worst today. Eagles enter the game with three straight losses. Andy Reid is 7-0 after the bye week. Westbrook is healthier. All signs point to an ugly day. My brain says Eagles 31-13. My heart says Redskins 19-16... wilsowilso 11-12-2006, 01:29 PM I almost hate to say this (because statistically we suck) but I think our D will step up today and make some stops. Hopefully it will be bend but don't break. McNaab eats alive any team that tries the bend don't break strategy. Gotta go after him. wilsowilso 11-12-2006, 01:31 PM Dr. Jekyll Brunell needs to play great today. Citizens for 81 11-12-2006, 01:34 PM The D-line has to cut down McNab's passing lanes a disrupt the timing of philly's dink-and-dunk, west-coast offense. Big C 11-12-2006, 01:37 PM man i cant wait for this game Hail from Manassas! |
