The only problem that I have with Sam is that he is, bar none, the worst professional announcer for any team and any sport. It is funny to listen to Sonny tool on him.

As for his passion and love for our franchise, I have no complaints. Making the coach tack on the field goal during a blowout is timeless.

awesome lol

"You guys arent future hall of famers (like myself), so I'll dumb it down for you. Two incompletions in practice is roughly equivalent to going 9-39 with sixteen INT in an actual game."

That's some funny stuff, It gave me an idea so I called Jason Campbell and asked if he would start his own Blog? He accepted, hope you all enjoy!

Today's blog by Jason Campbell 11/6/2006.

What a great victory against the cowboy's sunday, the last 2 minutes had me on the edge of my seat, [normally I sit more towards the middle during games] But I have to say with every game I learn something new, it has been a real learning experience watching a seasoned pro like Brunell from the sidelines as coach Gibbs has pointed out to me time and again.

What was some of the big lessons I took from the cowboy game you ask? Well for one Mr. Brunell [ I am not allowed to call him by his first name ] showed me how to throw a ball right threw a defenders hands, [from what I have surmised Mr.Brunell is a master] Mr Brunell said it's a certain spin thing he puts on the ball so the other team can't catch it, and he was right, the last one he threw through Roy Williams hands he purposly didn't put his special spin on it just to mock williams, and he was right Williams missed it, Williams saw us laughing at him and knew what had happened but it was to late Mr. Brunell really got him with that one, he's really quite the jokester, needless to say even Williams got a kick out of that one.

The next lesson I learned is your allowed to throw the ball down the middle of the field, I had heard rumors of this early on but didn't believe it until yesterday, but you have to figure it just makes sense to use the whole field, this way defenders can't key in on what your doing. As for our inability to run the ball in short yardage situations? Well you can't pin that all on the line or the the coaches for calling it, Clinton Portis was changing the play's in the huddle, so that is not on Mr.Brunell. The last play we ran when CP was stopped for a loss of 3 and made it more difficult for our kicker was a misunderstanding, Clinton asked the guy's in the huddle what kind of dress he should wear for thursday's interview and they thought he said he wanted to be undressed and let the Dallas lineman through, coach Gibbs to his credit rectified that problem immediatly after the game, from now on Clinton has to have his wordrobe picked out for thursday prior to the start of Sunday's game, [Clinton gets an extra day to think about it if we are playing monday night though].

I guess by now a lot of you loyal fans have heard I actually took some snaps with the first team this past week, it was nice to finally be introduced to some of the starters, but rest assured Mr. Brunell was with me every step of the way during practice to make sure I get things right, on tuesday I learned how to pat the ball, Mr Brunell say's you have to do this if you ever want to learn his secret spin, He then showed me the art of the 14' drop, unfortunatly once when I dropped back I actually fell into a hole about 20' deep, Mr. Brunell said someone must have accidently dug a hole there and without thinking covered it up, [not to worry I was OK, I only landed on my head] Coach said he'd only seen something like that once before it was when Schroeder and Williams were competing with each other, [by the way coach was really impressed with the way I fought my guts out to climb out of that hole with a head wound], needless to say the grounds keeper is going to get another talking to! The next lesson Mr. Brunell gave me was how to lock onto a reciever, he said it gives you more accuracy if you just look at one reciever the whole way, as well it will confuse the defense because they will think your gonna throw it to a different Reciever and never cover the player your looking at. [see these are things you just can't learn in college]

As for keeping yourself in shape Mr.Brunell has been great, he say's that weightlifting is overated especially for your arms, being any QB worth his salt only needs to throw the ball about 10 yards at the most, he did mention squats would be OK because you need to get outside the box quickly to throw the ball away as not to be called for a penalty, [Mr.Brunell say's that has been one of the key's to his longevity, that and saving coach Gibbs life]

Friday's lesson was extrodinary Mr. Brunell showed me how to tape a potato chip on your shoulder pad and have it still be intact after the game, and to no one's surprise he backed it up on sunday, Mr. Brunell said he has been able to use the same chip for 3 weeks straight now, now I know what some of you are thinking 3 weeks and the potato chip didn't break? Ahhh, you have to remember we had a by week last week so yes it has only been 2 full games, yet 3 full weeks. [occasionally I like to trick people with things like that lol]

As for my time on the sidelines? It's not as difficult as it looks, I have become pretty good friends with Rocky M. we both spend a lot of time learning from our peers, as well as sitting on the bench, although coach say's we have a good chance of seeing some significant playing time by 2008which is pretty encourging, we did get into some trouble on sunday though, coach saw us laughing during the game [someone put a laxative in the gatorade cooler] but coach didn't want to hear it, so to make sure it doesn't happen again he said he is going to have Adam A. sit with us for the entire game each game the rest of the year. Unfortunatly coach must have drank some gatorade because he was so bent over for the game winning kick he was unable to see it, he then ran across the field [crop dusting the whole way] as to not be inpolite to coach Parcells, shook his hand, Parcells said you stink [jokingly of coarse because we beat them] and ran off the field with a clenched up face, he must have been in a hurry to get back to dallas?

You want to hear a little behind the scenes gosip? OK! My rookie year Mr. Brunell took me under his wing and allowed me to get everything for him, I was allowed to bring his car to the front of the practice field when it was time to go, I was allowed to carry his equipment to and from the practice field, he let me come over to his house and clean, if he ran out of soap in the shower I was allowed to go to his locker to get him another. Although one time I did find something odd in his locker while looking for soap [wink wink] I haven't been able to put it all together yet but I am working on it, I found a whoopy cushion in his locker buried under a case of insulin with this partial inscription, P.Ram, I asked around of who this may be and why he would have something like this in his locker, nobody was sure, but I spoke with a player who want's to remain anonomous, and what he said was 3 years ago just before pre season coach called everyone in for a team meeting, and during that meeting he started feeling a little woosy so he sat down, as he sat down the whoopy cushion went off with a near explosion of noise, the whole team laughed at him, well coach apparently was not amused and asked for a confession, but no one would admit to putting this WC on his chair, so coach had sworn vengence on whomever put that device on his chair if he ever found out who did it, but to Clintons knowledge coach never found out who did it and the case is closed. I asked Mr.Brunell about it but he told me I was no longer allowed in his locker, [now I have to run to the store when he's out of soap] funny thing though 2 day's later I found a dead rat in my locker, and to my surprise I am no longer allowed to ride in the front of the bus for away games, oh well coincedences happen! I really hope you have enjoyed my first blog as much as I did, and I want to first thank Offiss for inviting me on, and Matty72 for providing such a wonderful forum, looking forward to my next blog! Goodby for now! Sincerly Jason Campbell.
