HAIL TO THE REDSKINS!
The REFS were BLIND TODAYPocket$ $traight 11-05-2006, 09:51 PM That 15 yarder on Taylor looked pretty good to me!!!!!!!!! HAIL TO THE REDSKINS! JWsleep 11-06-2006, 11:26 AM The refs were very bad Sunday--I was sitting behind one endzone (the one Portis ran to) and there were some OBVIOUS things they missed. But then they called it very tight in other places (Dallas did have 153 of penalty yards, so it's hard to complain all that much! ;) ). Inconsistent is the worst. Did Furia really hold on that pass play? WTF? But we won, nonetheless. Talk about fight through adversity! dmek25 11-06-2006, 11:28 AM hell, furia didnt get close enough to anyone to hold 5RINGS 11-06-2006, 12:04 PM I was severely pissed about some of the calls/ non-calls today. In a game that close the refs were definately picking on the hometeam.... and the announcers were all over tony romo's jock... (I tried to start a drinking game drinking only when the said, "romo", but only lasted about 5 minutes, 3 of which we were on offense... Several dallas holds (big ones that would've gone for sacks, or at least pressures) weren't called. ST gets called for "going low" on a QB, but every time I saw anyone near Brunell they were going for his knees. Re-watch the game... it was all they went for, and refs were standing 2 feet away and allowed it. I know refs have it bad, but this was udderly one of the most lop-sided games as far as calls go, and the cowboys still had like 200 yards in penalties... they should've had 300. The Cowboys had their third worst penalized game in their history yesterday. I am scared to think that there should have been more called..... Team looks undisciplined. 150 yards in penalties. firstdown 11-06-2006, 12:17 PM That 15 yarder on Taylor looked pretty good to me!!!!!!!!! HAIL TO THE REDSKINS! That was an awful call and was a text book tackle. He hit Romo in his mid section with his right shoulder and raped the back of his legs with his arms bringing him down. He did not hit him in the knees and only rapped him up by the legs as you should when making a tackle. gibbsisgod 11-06-2006, 12:22 PM That was an awful call and was a text book tackle. Taylor's shoulder hit Homo right in the jock and he get called for a lowblow? I guess the only place you can hit a qb is that 18-24" area from under his face mask down to his belt buckle? That is horse shit! firstdown 11-06-2006, 12:28 PM Maybe we found what Lloyd is good for. Not catching the ball but running as fast as he can down field drawing Intf. calls. I did miss his catch that was call back so maybe it will be on the highlight film. That Guy 11-06-2006, 07:16 PM patten got a couple deep intf calls last year too. it's not a bad play. lloyd also seems to run block well for a WR. Team looks undisciplined. 150 yards in penalties. PIs really skew that though. I thought the refing was all around bad. Basically a wash. We have definitely been the victims of far worse. Almost every call on #21 this season has been wrong. |
