Brunell played well today. Let us celebrate w/o any player bashing (except AA).
Give Props to Brunell724Skinsfan 11-05-2006, 05:53 PM Brunell played well today. Let us celebrate w/o any player bashing (except AA). RedskinRat 11-05-2006, 05:53 PM Anyone praising Brunell nedds to watch those passes again (particularly the one to Cooley for the TD, the one that went through Williams' hands, the fetal position on the pass rush, the non-throw to Lloyd when he bumped into Cooley and Cooley fell down leaving Lloyd wide open and behind the D, the one......) and then tell me he looked good/OK. Yeah, Sheriff, it's a lot like religion. You're either blinded by faith or a rational person. Sheriff Gonna Getcha 11-05-2006, 05:55 PM Or, RedskinRat, you're blinded by sheer hatred. I've been bashing Brunell for weeks, but I'm willing to call a spade a spade and give him credit where credit is due. Brunell had 192 yards passing, 1 TD and no INTs. Brunell and the receivers also drew about 80 yards in pass interference calls. So, while Brunell only had 192 yards passing, the passing game produced about 272 yards and should have produced over 300 (the Fauria penalty negated a 37 yard pass to Lloyd). I'd call that a good day. RedskinRat 11-05-2006, 06:00 PM I will be watching the game again later this week, I hope others do too, then we'll discuss it again and you tell me if Brunell looked poor/average/good. I'm not hating I'm calling it as I see it. 3rd ID SOLDIER 11-05-2006, 06:06 PM brunell could get the ball off if he didn't pat the motherfucker 30 times before he throws it god damn! SmootSmack 11-05-2006, 06:14 PM Anyone praising Brunell nedds to watch those passes again (particularly the one to Cooley for the TD, the one that went through Williams' hands, the fetal position on the pass rush, the non-throw to Lloyd when he bumped into Cooley and Cooley fell down leaving Lloyd wide open and behind the D, the one......) and then tell me he looked good/OK. Yeah, Sheriff, it's a lot like religion. You're either blinded by faith or a rational person. Shows what you know. Lloyd bumped into Sellers, not Cooley. You act like no QB in the league ever makes a bad pass or a bad decision. Sure Brunell didn't set the world on fire today but he played a solid game and damnit we won. Seriously it's like you'd rather the team lose just so you can keep bitching about Brunell. Enjoy the fucking moment dall-assblows 11-05-2006, 06:19 PM Um, no.... He threw passes that were too close to being picked off. almost every qb has 1 or 2 or 3 passes that could of been picked. that happens all the time Pocket$ $traight 11-05-2006, 06:23 PM I will accept the criticism. I have called for Brunell's head. He was a Pro-Bowler today. And for that idiot Rexi, Brandon Lloyd was f-ing money today. F you and your miserable team. Sheriff Gonna Getcha 11-05-2006, 06:24 PM I will accept the criticism. I have called for Brunell's head. He was a Pro-Bowler today. And for that idiot Rexi, Brandon Lloyd was f-ing money today. F you and your miserable team. I'm glad you joined me as a Brunell-hater who's willing to swallow his pride and give props where they are due. RedskinRat 11-05-2006, 06:26 PM Shows what you know. Enjoy the fucking moment Ooooooh, I got a player wrong. So fucking what, you know what play I meant. Brunell isn't good enough for this team to progress, why is that so hard for people to comprehend? Yes, I'm happy we won. No, I don't think that Brunell WON it for us. There's a subtle difference that I can see, if you're honest I'm sure you can too. |
