Wait so because the media follows him around everywhere and constantly harrasses him and the entire Dallas Cowboys organization he is an attention whore? It's not like TO gets on his cell 10 minutes after the meeting to report this hot story that he just fell asleep. The media is so obsessed with keeping him the NFL's "Bad Boy" that they will report anything they can to make him look like an evil team wrecker. Exhibit A is this ridiculous thread.
I'm not saying the media doesn't jump all over his every move, but at the same time he's just as guilty. He doesn't shy away from any of the attention that's for damn sure. Don't make him out to be an innocent victim because he's far from it.

So because he isn't a shy person he's guilty? The media asks him these outrageous questions and he answers them the best he can, sometimes in a brutally honest manner. What he is guilty of is not being too 'touchy-feely' in the way he phrases some things. But what can he do when the media makes firestorms out of crap like being late to one meeting and falling asleep in film session. He's only freaking human...

No he does some things that are wrong, mainly not knowing when to shut up and stop speaking his mind. But he doesn't have some agenda to ruin every team he is on like ESPN slants everything. If you read my post carefully it says I didn't say it was right for him to fall asleep.
if T.O. did to my team what he did to the 49ers, i would be pissed at him for life

Didn't Riggo often do the same thing? I hate T.O., but I don't think that this is a big issue. From what I gather, many NFL players seem to do this during meetings. It's wrong, but common.Really isnt a big deal. Players fall asleep in meetings often.

yeah, thats exactly what i want my better players to do when the going gets rough, bitch and moan and jump ship. he might of been part of the problem, because he definitely wasnt part of the solution.

Even great players have wanted that in their career's, Jerry Rice for one. TO is obviously very motivated to get a ring and I don't blame him for wanting to go somewhere where that would be possible because at the time looking at our salary cap situation it was clear that we weren't going to be competitive for a while.

The fact of the matter is when you are constantly making a spectacle of yourself, you put yourself under a magnifying glass and that magnifying glass is going scrutinize the good AND the bad. No one put a gun to T.O's head and said do sit ups in your driveway for the press, say McNabb was tired during the Superbowl, insinuate that Jeff Garcia is gay - the list goes on and on. Sure players probably doze off in meetings but the ones that get away with it are the ones that aren't screaming "Look at me!!!" every five minutes.

Questions that insinuate bad qualities about his character. Listen to the questions they ask him most of the time, he just answers them truthfully to the best of his ability from what I hear. I mean some of the things he says may be offensive to people but the only thing I see wrong with what he says is that he doesn't know when to be PC on everything. Pretty much everything he has been criticized for has been something someone has suspected and asked him about and when he answers it he gets crucified for saying what he thinks. He doesn't fabricate crap to 'shake things up'. I don't think he is a bad guy and he has said some things that would have been better left unsaid but he isn't how the media has chosen his image to be shaped. And this 'Look at me' stuff you are talking about is just untrue. Just because the media chooses to show him all the time doesn't mean he asks for it. Guys who create spectacles every week to get attention are players like Chad Johnson.
