Sure he CAN, but WILL he?
If Moss is out - can ARE and Lloyd step up?TheMalcolmConnection 11-03-2006, 10:55 AM Sure he CAN, but WILL he? BDBohnzie 11-03-2006, 10:55 AM Of course he can....he just chooses not to. And now, he has no choice but to look downfield at someone other than 89. TheMalcolmConnection 11-03-2006, 11:00 AM I have an idea. Put Moss jerseys on ALL receivers. BrunellMVP? 11-03-2006, 11:00 AM lets not forget that he's also nursing an injury. D'BOYZ 11-03-2006, 11:10 AM probably the last meaningful game of the season they won't miss it Blah, blah.... it's far from the last meaningful game.[/quote] Dude blah, blah Really? You can honestly say with a straight face that IF you lose and sitting with a 2 - 6 record there will be other meaningful games in the season??? With a 2 -6 record you can honestly sit and say The season AIN'T OVER..... Come on. We all Know that IF you win this game and end up losing the other 8 and that game cost us the Playoffs you'll be chearing like crazy. We might Suck but hey We Stop the Cowboys..... So yeah It's probably the last meaningful game of the season. YOU win you still have hope, you can screw our season..... You lose season is over the only things left to look for is when JC steps up at QB and What to do with the first pick of the draft TheMalcolmConnection 11-03-2006, 11:15 AM At 2-6, mathematically it's not over. That's all I can say about that. jdlea 11-03-2006, 11:16 AM You guys KILL me with this Brunell stuff. The man CAN throw the ball to other people. He'll be fine, and he'll have a freakin rocket on him after sitting out for so long and resting. Moss: 28 catches, 435 yards Cooley: 21 catches, 218 yards Betts: 23 catches, 193 yards Lloyd: 11 catches, 164 yards Randle El: 18 catches, 167 yards Portis: 15 catches, 155 yards Sellers: 9 catches, 50 yards So, he looks to throw to other people than Moss; their names are Betts and Cooley. On that list it's 47 catches by backs, 21 by cooley and 29 by receivers not named Moss. 28 by Moss. So, if he doesn't play, they're in deep trouble. jdlea 11-03-2006, 11:20 AM Dude blah, blah Really? You lose season is over the only things left to look for is when JC steps up at QB and What to do with the first pick of the draft You're right man. I can't stand the sorry ass Skins fans who say stuff like, I don't care if we go 2 - 14 and beat Dallas both games. That's bs. That's a losing attitude. Personally, the Skins can go 14 and 2 and drop both games to Big D for all I care. I want them to win! Dallas doesn't mean much to me. Hell, go 10-6 and 0-6 in the division, if they make the playoffs I'll be pissed that they lost all divisional games, but I'll be happy as hell that they made the playoffs. They need to win games, I don't care who they come against. Just win baby... TheMalcolmConnection 11-03-2006, 11:21 AM Yeah, I mean if we lost to Dallas twice and won the Super Bowl, I'd just shit on them anyway. It wasn't that they were the better team overall, just the better team THAT PARTICULAR DAY. It's defeatist to be like that. BrunellMVP? 11-03-2006, 11:56 AM dallas makes me sick. i hate seeing the jersey's on the metro, i hate seeing them about town, and i automatically hate the person wearing it. that said, i'd take loses to dallas anyday for a winning record (we all would). I think the point of the 2-14 thing is, if we are going to win only two games, we prefer they be against the boyz. |
