Joe Gibbs: "Campbell is ready to play"!

I would suspect this may mean he has moved to the #2 spot???Redskins.com has an article stating that the QB situation has not changed. MB#1, TC#2, and JC#3 so I dont know what to think.

If Brunell starts slowly Sunday, FedEx will be hollering for Campbell. I'll be wearing my No. 17 jersey.

My mother is ready to play, that don't mean she's going to suite up and actually play. I mean, we all knew he can play, the question is will he play now. Gibbs isn't telling us what we already know.

If Campbell doesn't start we know we've thrown another game away.

I have heard for the last week or bits and pieces of comments regarding Brunell's health, and game condition. I wondered at the time if some groundwork were being layed. If they lose to D, Brunell's health may suddenly go south. MINE WILL

Gibbs has been saying for quite some time now that Campbell is ready to play, and can win games for us, the trick is when will he make the decision to play him.

I think the glitch is with Al Saunders, he's hell bent on finding a way to get T. Collins in the games, and Gibbs want's to see what Jason can do despite his disdain for young QB's. It seems to me this situation would have been sorted out before Saunders was brought in, it's not like they were unaware of the QB situation that already existed here.
