It's an ABSOLUTE MUST to land a top CB. That is priority 1, everything else is secondary to that.

We need linebackers out the wazoo. Andre Carter appears to be a big mistake, because while he can get around the edge (only a little bit) he can't stop the run to save his life.

And Campbell needs to start playing to learn this offense.

Maybe this is too general but...

Get younger (esp on d)
Somehow get more draft picks if not next year the year after
Re-think our front office philosophy

I agree with the general assessment given by the other posters. These are the moves I think we should make, in order of priority:
1. Start Campbell
2. Shutdown CB
3. Pass rushing DE

I'm also for the Clements signing. If we have the cash to get him, I'm ALL over that. If we could also get some picks possibly, I'd maybe draft a QB in the late rounds and then sign a vet from another team.

[quote=TAFKAS;236107]and here's an intriguing one Byron Leftwich (would bring him back home)

Leftwitch isn't going anywhere, he's injured. If he did, I would pull him in here in a heartbeat... he's a good QB. I don't know if he'd backup JC or not. I think he's a quality starter wherever he plays...

Campbell may be better, though, we just don't know...

Leftwich is too inconsistent.

Next year is Campbell's time.

We definitly need to see Campbell play this year, I dont know why people are already pushing him aside, we havent seem him play yet.

We need TWO shutdown corners.

And we need TWO defensive ends and atleast 1 more DT to go with Griffin.

Someone said we need linebackers...I think we are fine there

Purely speculation, assuming we'll see jc at some point, but what about Matt Schaub from ATL or do we have too much tied up in JC? We've seen stranger things happen from the front office (i believe he'll be a FA).

I guess this is wishful thinking on my part. I'd like to see JC success first but none of us know what we have. I see Matt Schaub as a smart accurate passer that could do real well in a Saunders offense.

Either we hand things off to Campbell or we basically admit he was a HUGE mistake. If he's not ready to go next year then something is seriously, seriously wrong.

We need at least one other corner and a dominant DE which we haven't had since the Charles Mann days. LB is very thin as well and could use some help.
