Personally I feel most of the off-season acquisitions were pretty solid. Randel El and Archeletta were my two big concerns for overpaying. Archeletta we failed miserably at thus far, but Randel El has given us a big spark.

Carter is a slight disappointment, but hes getting better, which is encouraging.
Lloyd is great, WHEN we throw the ball to him. Get this man involved.
Saunders will be fine, offenses are hard to install, especially if there's any head butting behind the scenes. IE Saunders wants to tell Portis when to sit, not the other way around. If he wants a new QB, any changes to personel, etc.

agree. El is the man. Lloyd isn't terribly overpriced i guess. AA has been a let down at least to the point that we paid so much for him. plus he has a hot wife and it makes me jealous. punk.

didnt priest holmes set a recoed for most carries in a season? and even if he didnt, i know he carried more than 14-15 times a game. i dont know why saunders refuses to run portis

Unfortunately, I think the reason he did not get more carries Sunday, especially later in the game, was this (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=rotowire-lintonortisouldaveig&prov=rotowire&type=lgns). Hopefully, he will be back for the Dallas game. It bothers me that he talks about how he wants the ball all the time, but keeps taking himself out of the game in key situations. How is he ever going to get in a rhythm if he takes himself out of the game every other series? On another note, WTF is shawn springs taking himself off the field with a minor cramp for when Indy had 3rd down inside our 5 leaving Rumph matched up on Harrison?

i never question Clinton Portis' heart. Springs, on the other hand, has been nicked up his entire NFL career. but in his defense, he isn't anywhere near game shape
