Who wants to pitch in so we can hire a sky-writer to spell out "We Want Campbell" over Gibbs' house everyday for the next 2 weeks?

no just the fact that they made a QB change. this will be better for dallas in the long run, as it would if we made the change.

thats what i meant

Time will tell. I think Parcells really screwed this one up though. I think Jerry Jones thinks the same thing. This is probably the beginning of the end for Parcells if you ask me.

I can't believe how a couple of you are already writing off Romo after his first game. Normally I agree with you Matty, but give Romo a break. It was his first regular season game, he's been riding the bench for three and a half seasons, and you can't expect him to just come in and look like the second coming of Peyton. All qb's playing in their season, let alone their first game, look like crap. Sure, there's a couple exceptions, but that's rarely the case. I won't be suprised if Jason Campbell comes in in his first season and throws twice as many picks as touchdowns.

And I can't believe how any of you are acting like Romo is the Cowboy's savior for the exact same reasons. He hasn't proven a damn thing and to throw him in mid-season when they are still right in the thick of everything is probably not so smart...like I said, time will tell.

I agree with you about JC though, so why are there so many calling for him? Brunell isn't throwing away the games like he probably would initially as you say.

I'm just responding to those who say they made the "right choice" or put the "right guy" in. Really, well how right were those 3 INTs last night?

We all know it's about what have you done for me lately, and last night he didn't play well. So for all those fans begging for Romo, I hope they are happy and will shut up for a while, because they are getting what they wanted. But they won't be quiet for long if he plays like he did last night, that's for sure.

Romo is a 4 year vet and was an undrafted free agent, and he's the answer?

Please.

And if Parcells retires, which he probably will sooner rather than later, Romo won't be their "answer" for long.

New coach likely equals new QB.

And Bledsoe wasn't getting it done, so what do you do?

Similar situation here in that the switch has to be made at some point. There's always a potention for the new QB to provide a spark and change the tide. You leave the it too late and you're going to get wet anyway.
