The irony is that it's mainly because of Gibbs and the great glory years he brought us that many of are upset now. Had we never known what he and this team could and has accomplished we may not feel the way we do now.
you're absolutely right. if we didn't know better, we could be comparing his coaching style to Norv Turner's!
but we DO know better, we do...

Starting over isn't a bad idea, if we keep this Offensive line together and start over in every other area, it might not take more than a season to get things together. We are in a worse position than square one right now, we LOST to the Titans, who arent even to square one right now. We got nothing goin for us currently, starting over is the way to go. liquidate the defense and skill positions and invest in draft picks, very simple.
Why would they blow up the offense when all they need is a QB who can throw between the numbers. Saunders said it himself that with Brunell they are limited.
The defense needs more work than an O. Just bring in some young D-line talent and another middle linebacker (possibly a legit corner) and you are good.
Doc Walker had a great point today. If they needed a good corner to keep the defense competitive, why they hell didn't they sign Ty Law?
We sign Archuletta and Carter to huge contracts when we could have had the best cover corner on the market.
Just another example of why we have the worst front office in football.

I say keep Joe as the coach but remove him from all personnel decisions.

I don't think they were expecting Springs to be so seriously hurt and for Rogers to regress and for Wright to struggle so much either

Sort of like the Seahawks did with Holmgren. My feeling though is that Gibbs wouldn't accept that.

This thread is so f-ing rediculous...I would not fire Gibbs if it were a 100% certainty that they would win next years Super Bowl as a result. It's just not worth it to me...Gibbs is the Redskins in my eyes.
