Any time you switch QBs, I can't call that a minimal change. I want to see them go to Campbell next season which can only be described as moderate in my eyes.

I want to keep the same schemes, keep the same coaches, keep the same offensive line, keep Portis, Moss, Cooley, Lloyd, ARE, Sellers. I'd get Rocky ready to play, maybe upgrade Lemar Marshall, play Carter only on passing downs, play Archuleta only on running downs, and DEFINITELY get a real good CB.

But the biggest change I want to see is a complete shift in philosophy, getting away from acquiring players through free agency and start acquiring them through the draft. I want to see us acquiring picks, not trading them away. That would be a pretty big shift in the way the team is managed.I'd agree with this. I think the Campbell era will start in training camp last year. (Not that he won't play this year, but this isn't his team) The fact that they keep trading picks away compromises the future, and you'd be a fool to think there isn't some extra pressure on the team to win now that indirectly affects the game.

It's not like they haven't done a good job drafting both early and late. Dockery, Sean Taylor, Montgomery, Golston, Betts, Marshall and Pierce as UDFAs all came from the draft. It's not like there is even a problem with trading picks for role players. It's that every time we make a deal, we get far sub par league average value for our pick.

it's not that they aren't picking decent people, but they're not picking enough, and the big mistakes on FAs are a horrible disadvantage going foward. Our hit rate just isn't high enough to compete with good teams right now.

Jansen and Samuels like to run block, not pass protect. especially for the time it takes Brunell to feel confident enough about his arm and the recievers openess to actually throw the ball. and when he does, it's only a 6yd play so its wash, rinse, repeat over and over, and thats on a GOOD drive.

I believe a moderate change in philosophy is needed by the skins. What i mean by that is a balance b/n building thru the draft and FA. I believe that building thru FA has cost us chemistry and more importantly DEPTH. When you pick up depth thru FA you are getting others castoffs. There is a reason that teams let people go most of the time. Seeing we have minimal picks next year it might take awhile to fix this.

We also need a quarterback that can take us to the next level. Brunell can't. Campbell is a MAJOR question mark at this point.

Whoever makes the personel decisions needs to stop making personel decisions and get someone who knows what they are doing. Next time we overpay for a pash rusher, it better be for someone that resembles a Dwight Freeney. The next time we overpay for a safety they better be able to cover too.

Gotta go too many things to list...

Blow it up! Take the 1st rounder and trade down in the draft. We need muliple players at multiple positions.

Hey...I live Indianapolis and I am so bummed this morning.....The Skins need to start keeping draft picks.....I mean, we have TJ Duckett and no 3rd rounder now....3rd rounders in the past have been guys like Chris Cooley...Also, why do you trade for another 1st rounder in 05' only to spend it on J.Campbell and then not play him....why didn't the Skins take a player who was going to help them immediately like Heath Miller??.....This team just makes me sick

First of all, as frustrated as I am with this team, I don't think a major blow up is in order. There is a lot of talent out there in Ashburn, we just need to use it properly and add a few key components.

I think the thing we all keep coming back to is something none of us wanted to admit when JG came back...Gibbs needs a top notch personell guy running the show for him. Gibbs the coach is not the guy I want to fire (although the uber conservative play calling is becoming a liability)...Gibbs the GM on the other hand, need to be shown the door. We need a quality pro-personnel director in between Gibbs and Snyder with veto power over the coaching staff. Cerrato must go...he a buddy with the owner and you can't be friends with your boss in football, it doesn't work that way.

Let Gibbs focus on integrating the components of the Gibbs offense and Saunders offense that have worked. I not calling for Saunder's head because I do believe components of his system will work, albeit with some modification to the running plays (play to the O-line's strength, which is power run blocking, not finesse timing stuff).

The key is to have a GM with the final say on personnel calling the shots. Someone with enough backbone to overrule Gibbs where his personal loyalties cloud his judgement (Brunell for example). This would also hopefully fix our propensity to overpay for non-system guys who end up being duds.

Wonder if Danny's dollars could lure a Scott Peoli type from the Pats?

minimal to moderate. no need to revamp the entire team, but i still suppose there is a need to change more than a few players. I've had enough of Archuletta. I've seen enough of Wright. Please shop or trade for a viable corner. Its time for McIntosh to start. Skins are gonna lose out on both Duckett and Betts to free agency. DO NOT go out and buy every expensive free agent on the market, it doesn't work.

Isn't it contradictory to say the talent is there but then say we need someone else calling the shots on personnel?
