I'm dreading going to the game on the 5th because I just know FedEx is going to be crawling with them.[/quote]

Why?

They act like asses all season long and when the Skins stuff them for once the cry like little girls.

How could you stand not seeing that drama?

How can I not watch the team of which I've been a fan for 56 yrs. Even during those years when it wasn't fashionable to be a Redskin fan in my neighborhood, we ,(my family) always found a way to Griffin Stadium on Sunday's. We have experienced many up's downs high's and low's with this team through the years, and believe me there have been some comprable to what we're going through now. I will continue to watch every single game because I love the team, and as unrealistic as it is I believe we're going to win every game we play. These next nine games will be a true test for determining who the real individual Redskins are, to watch the effort they put forth when they don't have a post-season berth to play for. I want to see how many quit, how many lay down with fake injuries, and how many want to continue to carry the torch. These next nine games will reveal much to me about the character of this team, and I'll be here to watch every single one.

one of the best posts ever on the warpath! 56 yrs of the skins, I'm going on half that

I will continue to watch because Im a die hard fan and no matter what or where I am I cannot live without watching the skins. It does drive me nuts when they look horendous out on the field but regardless I'll watch. Another reason for me is its entertainment. For 3-4 hours every sunday I forget about my job have a few beers and think about nothing else but football. ( I guess it usually stretches all day sunday) I've been there when they were 1-15 and I was there when they won 3 superbowls. I will continue to watch the Skins no matter what.

We haven't had a 1-win season since '61 when we were 1-12-1.

Our worst season since then was '94 at 3-13.

I know, I still got your point and applaud you for it. I just had to go check to see when we were 1-15 because I didn't remember it.

Why would anyone want to abandon one of the most sucessful franchises in football history?

Because a bad three hours watching the Redskins is better than a good three hours at work.

Im certainly not as old as many of you, so I haven't been a fan that long. A true fan doesn't walk out on his team when the chips are down. I watch because despite the bad, this is MY team

Our season is sunk, but I say we beat the Cowboys. We will have two weeks to prepare for them. A lot of our injured starters should return for the game. Our players will be hungry. If the 12th Man doesn't totally punk out and start booing on the 1st drive, I think we take the Cowboys.

I'm willing to watch the rest of the season just so I can watch our team try to sink other teams' playoff hopes. Misery loves company.

I'm watching the games because no matter how poorly they play, I still love the redskins and it takes my mind off my current problems for three hours.
