We've got a 1st, 5th, 6th, and 7th. We traded a high 2nd rounder for Rocky McIntosh; a guy who has yet to crack the starting lineup. We traded a high 3rd rounder for TJ Duckett; a guy who has yet to be used at all. We traded a high 4th rounder for Lloyd; a guy who can't get the ball because Brunell cannot see anyone but Moss or Betts. Frustrating anyone?

Its not frustrating me that McIntosh hasent cracked the lineup yet, he's still only 7 games into his rookie year.....

but I dont understand why we gave up a 2nd round pick to move up a few slots. I feel like we could have done it for less.

I'll never understand the Duckett thing.

I'm fine with the Lloyd trade, that will work out for us in the long run I think.

There were times when I questioned the need for linebacker -- with Springs getting up there, I always thought one more stab at a cornerback was a bigger need. Jimmy Williams was still there when we traded up. But we moved up quite a bit to get McIntosh -- it wasn't just a few spots.

Just checked NFL.com -- we went from #53 to #35 in the 2nd round to get Rocky.

Instead of trading up for players this year how about the Skins' take a different approach--say trade their first for a later first plus an additional pick.

carlos rogers is good

He is a nickelback at best, right now.

The front office places little value in draft picks. They give way too high picks for average players. A 3rd for Burnell, a throw-in 2nd rounder for Portis, 1st for Coles, the Duckett panic trade, and more.

So guys, the question becomes now, with our practically guaranteed top ten pick, who do we get? What need will become more pressing then ever?

not on this defense. a top 10 CB should be a number 1, but right now he's a #2 at best. he is a good tackler and decent in zone, has size, but he gives too much cushion and isn't all that fast for a CB, drops ints, and struggles in man, which is disappointing :/.

a top 10 pick should be able to come in and make plays . almost a sure fire pick. rogers was better last year at #2 corner. not sure if he can make it as a number one. so far it doesnt look like it
