Why do people support this bum? Do you want him in anymore GTRIPP? Or do you want a fresh body?? Should we make a run at Quinn?

Because alot of us are smart enough to take a step back and look at the whole picture. While we all agree that Brunell isn't an MVP quarterback, he has played well enough to have won us more games than what we have. Secondly, if it is all on the QB, then why is it that teams are running and passing against us at will? Our tackling sucks.... how does putting in another QB fix our defense? If our defense played even half as good as it did last year, then this team would be battling for first place in the division right now.

what's better for 2007, a 37 year old brunell, or knowing whether campbell can play and possibly starting him with actual experience? this season is pretty much shot, and brunell isn't getting better, so a QB change is going to have to be made eventually. We either need to know campbell can't play, or we need to get him experience. and just because the defense is bad and brunell piles up garbage time stats doesn't mean he's not part of the problem.

i think once the season is officially shot, he'll get in there. he needs to. brunell is just too old. he's no john elway or dan marino.

most of the time brunell looks like he has to go out on the field. not like he is enjoying himself or anything. I'm with saden, that stupid thumbs up thing brunell keeps doing gets on my nerves. save your energy and try to complete a pass of longer than 10 yards

People focus on the QB because it is the 'easy' fix. Easy in the sense that it is just one player, but can a profound effect, either good or bad on the team. The problems on defence are such that you cannot replace the entire D, we put in two rookie tackles, Tennesse runs wild, we put in a rookie tackle and a non-stareter at MLB, the defence is porous against the Colts. There are two many gaps and problems on the defence to make an single change that will improve performance. Most fans are hoping that with the bye the starters will be healthy, but I think we have greater problems, on defence where even having the starters all back is not going to fix it.

At some point it is going to be time to acknowledge that the team needs to be rebuilt. The franchise has played with fire in terms of secondary depth, especially at corner, this year it finally bit us. The team is in dire need of architect, in my own opinion the front seven needs an overhaul. Likewise we are going to have to develop depth on the offensive line. I find it peculiar that some of our O-line draft picks, like Molinaro, have not been able to break into the starting ranks. Most teams have depth, the Skins do not.

Jason Campbell absolutely is the future. I think we should take advantage of Tony Romo starting in Dallas, start Brunell, give Romo a warm Redskins 'Welcome to the NFL', beat their ass, and try to get something rolling. Not a moment too soon.

Yeah, I don't really like the idea of Campbell starting his first game against the Dallas D.

Brunell is a much better choice and gives us a chance to win the game.

Besides, Brunell isn't really the problem. He's not calling the plays or playing defense.

1) What better way to start JC's tenure than with a win against a hated rival?

2) What are you basing that on? It can't be anything you've seen this season.

3) No, he's not calling the plays but he's certainly fucking up the plays that are called.

So with Brunell out these past couple of days recovering from injuries, Campbell has been working out with the first unit; and not Collins. The plot doth thicken

the play calling is fine... Al saunders does call the big pass plays... brunell just can't even attempt to make those throws so he dumps it off short all the time.

put in jason campbell. cowboys put in tony romo... so let's do the same with our young qb.
