For the record, I have never picked against the Skins ever in my life. Not on this forum or anywhere else. I just think its bad luck to pick your own team to lose.

a meteor crashes into the dolt's team bus and of the few survivors, mike doss is picked to become the new QB... and we still lose by 7.

seriously though, there's a shot, but it involves the defense playing like it did in 2004 even though it's showed no signs of life in any way up till now. it requires springs and fresh-off-the-bus vincent to act like their fully healthy and 27 again. it requires portis to turn in an LT like domination and brunell and saunders to not screw things up. breaking peyton's leg wouldn't hurt either.

New prediction....

Peyton wears the fake porn stache from the Nextel commercial and lights up the skins D. CP throws a TD pass on the flea flicker and Brunell has another 'average' game. Just enough to keep his starting job for another week.

31 Colts
13 Skins

Gibbbs's says in his post game that they fought their guts out and teh blame falls on the war in Iraq.

Just getting back from 4 hours of drinking (no, I wasn't driving) and came to my senses. This is about as solid as it gets, people. And, yes, I will be pissed after the game, but I will still love my team.

Hog's Breath has the issue surrounded as they say in politics. I'm sensing that some of you are hoping the Redskins lose and that this will hasten the onset of the J. Campbell era. I say, be careful. IMO, the more likely scenario if the Redskins lose is that you STILL get Brunell the rest of the year.

I still say the Redskins win big and Portis goes nuts. Hopefully it will look kind of like the Clemson game last night when their two backs, Davis and Spiller, combined for well over 300 yard rushing against Georgia Tech. The Freshman Spiller has sick potential. They may get Stuckey back for Va Tech Thursday which will be a fun game to watch. However, I digress...

Colts win 48-17.

Colts get tired of hearing how they "barely beat the winless Titans" for the past two weeks.

Peyton Manning demolishes the record for passing in a single game in all categories. A record held by Boomer Esiason who incidentally notched it against the Skins.

Colts defense smashes Portis at and behind the line all day. Portis finishes with less than 40 yards rushing as the Colts cruise to a 28-0 halftime lead. Colts run-defense, maligned for the past two weeks as "worst in the league", somehow rise to the occasion similar to the way the Giants' pass defense did two weeks ago in the Meadowlands when the Redskins were supposed to go Dresden on their asses.

Ugly for the Skins, who officially drop the "unpredictable" label from their performances.

I turned it on to watch calvin johnson go nuts, and i got james and CJ instead. just as good, but quite unexpected.

btw, i think johnson's biggest problem is reggie ball. dude's just not very good.
