Looking at some of the other hall of famers, he fits right in. his career avg per carry is around 5. thats pretty good if you ask me. and almost 9 yards per reception. I wish there would be some more objective people out here, instead of having you bash everything ever said by someone if it isn't in the favor of the redskins. stop worrying, Monk will get into the hall of fame. The problem with only letting HOFers vote is that there would be too much buddy stuff and team-mates pushing non-deserving team-mates for induction. I dont think the current system is perfect but I think its best because it provides a broad range of perspectives and the best chance for objectivity. I dont necessarily believe that someone had to play football to be able to determine who the all time greats are.
