I think we need to set the tone against INDI.

Why don't we institute a "full house" backfield. Sellers, Portis, and Duckett.
Saunders can run his sweeps with Sellers and Duckett blocking. Should the safeties "play the outside"... we pound it up with lead plays right up the gut giving Duckett the ball.

We do not have the tools to throw deep

We have not been running our WR's successfully to the outside

We have not established an identity. (I heard Sonny imply that we are a football team that doesn't know what to do. We're trying to finess the opponent when we have people like Duckett and Sellers in the backfield being used sparingly.)

Changing to this offense will control the clock more and most importantly take some weight off our defense. It will minimize turnovers, and I think it's the correct gameplan to run against INDI.

Then we miss out on Cooley. the one receiver big and slow enough for Brunell to see in the middle.

despite his size, Duckett isn't a fullback and probably wouldn't take to lead blocking. Cooley has done that a good deal though. i think Cooley lead blocking for Sellers is a hell of an idea at times, Sellers has some pretty good feet! it's true!

Funny, but vicious.

Vicious? Ya, probably. Funny? Definitely? Joking? FUCK NO. I truly think that his fullhouse backfiled is one of the best ideas ive heard in forever...wtf is ANY D gonna do if we come out with that shit? besides tuck their tails and hope to god they can stop us....

I think Sellers is great. He loves this team and I think that drives him to push a little harder when he runs...with the twins trains (Sellers and Duckett) in at the same time....jesus....D's would move out of the way rather than get run the FUCK over!

Sellers is the shit frankly. he lives on hitting people, then surprises you with his footwork on the carries. and how could we forget all his TDs in the endzone last year??

That's why i wasn't happy with the Duckett acquistion. Sellers was a talented secret weapon and we should use him now before he gets too old.

I was implying Sellers lead blocking for Duckett. Not vice versa. But Cooley blocking for Sellers isn't a bad idea either.

Sellers reminds me of Bettis at times. He's this big monstrous human that throws in a juke here or there. He's definitly one of the many weapons being under-utilized.

I say we form a legion and just storm Redskins park with a Coup de Fans.

I'm pretty sure we'll all fail miserably, but so far that won't change anything.

We don't even need to get this cute with running Sellers, we have a 1500 yard RB in Portis, one of the best backs in the game, USE HIM. Give him 20-25 carries per game, Betts another 10 carries or so, and let's finally get Duckett involved in some short yardage situations. We had that formula working beautifully against Jacksonville (minus Duckett) , but somehow we took that gameplan and shoved it under the couch or something. Dust that baby off and let's get back to work!

oh, you either minced your words there or implied Duckett would block for Portis whenever they went that direction. either way, Cooley would be best for that plus pose the passing threat from there or the TE position.

sadly, we actually use this package ALOT!
