hurrykaine 10-15-2006, 05:35 PM In 2004, there was the Cleveland game. In 2005, there was the Oakland game. And now, there's the Titans game. Knowing we were going to go against a bye week rested Colts team next week, how do you come out without intensity on your home field against an 0-5 team???!!!
Sorry folks, the season officially ended today. After being eaten alive in Indy, we will be 2-5 (0-3 in the conference) and (0-2 in the division).
We have some downright dumb players on the defense. With 4 former defensive coordinators on the staff, one wonders if egos are getting in the way.
Gibbs and the coaching staff do not have these guys motivated. It almost seems like a bunch of guys have mailed it in. The playcalling on offense is woeful. And we have an extraordinarily average player at QB.
We will not win a championship with Brunell at QB. As much as I hate the fat f..k's guts, Lenny Pasta said it right - we won't win a championship with Gibbs2.0 as head coach.
If anytime's right, this is the time to send some hard hitting messages. Cut some players to put the fear of god into the rest. Will anyone have a problem with Archuletta getting the axe? How about Fauria? How about Renaldo Wynn?
Big C 10-15-2006, 05:42 PM reynaldo wynn is a great locker room guy, we cut him and the team revolts. we dont need to do any outrageous personell moves in the middle of the season and have the team go on strike...
hurrykaine 10-15-2006, 05:43 PM So was Robert Royal, and especially Walter Rasby. However, there is no room for mediocrity anymore.
81alwaysmyhero 10-15-2006, 05:44 PM I dont have a problem with Al Saunders getting the AXE! Or Greg Williams! There is no excuse for the piss poor playing calling. DINK AND DUNK DINK AND DUNK. There is no excuse for not being able to get OFF THE #@*$ing FIELD ON THIRD DOWN! The season is over! Bench Burnell. Start Campbell the rest of year (NOT COLLINS, CAMPBELL). Time to start thinking about the future. And last but not least, stop trading away draft picks for players that have no impact!
IM SO SICK OF IT!
I LOVE THE REDSKINS AND ALWAYS WILL. I NEVER MISS A GAME, BUT THIS IS GETTING HARD TO WATCH!
dall-assblows 10-15-2006, 05:46 PM i'm so tried of the redskins period.
i watch the game and i can't satnd watching a team get dominated like we did today, i don't care what the score was, we got dominated!
JGisLordOfTheRings 10-15-2006, 06:15 PM I can say all i want about how i wont watch anymore but goddam it, I AM A SKINS FAN! giving up is pretty bad and i will always watch the games but like 81alwaysmyhero said, its getting pretty tough to watch us get shit kicked every week by less than average teams like the FUCKING TITANS. its time to cut our losses, get rid of some of these worthless fucking free agents, keep our goddam draft picks, and train campbell to be next years hero....but of course, they wont. unless he is hurt, brunell will start for the rest of the year and nobody will leave. wwe will continue to trade draft picks for worthless washed up has been overpaid underacheivers and we will cpntinue shooting ourselves in the foot on offense. I cant even talk about the Defense or lack thereof....we need help....this season is FUCKED. That a moot point...i just think its time to start thinking and planning and changing things so next year isnt as fucked up as this piss poor little league showing...
i am truly ashamed of my REDKSINS heritage and as much as i want to, and as much as they make me want to, i will never give up hope. Maybe not this season, maybe not next year...but dammit, we will return to greatness!
I also think that after the way the rest of this season is going to go down, Gibbs will not be coming back after his contract is over and niether will GW.
In a word, i think we may be
FUCKED
Twilbert07 10-15-2006, 06:28 PM Gibbs now is 19-21 in Act II, including playoff games. It's sad, but it's a fact. Worse yet, Gregg Williams is proving he's no answer to "Whom will succeed Joe when he hangs it up?"

For the sake of Jason Campbell's development, Al Saunders had better be retained as OC no matter who succeeds Gibbs. I can't imagine Gibbs walking away from his contract early if the team still hasn't turned the corner.
Twilbert07 10-15-2006, 06:38 PM I guess we should keep Saunders for Jason Campbell. As I said on another thread, JC could have started out 2-4 and at least had 6 games under his belt. The Titans obviously made the right move by going to their young QB.
Randoid Jenkins 10-15-2006, 06:47 PM the problem today was the fact that the defense could do nothing and that portis did not get the ball enough in this game plain and simple relied on brunell 2 moss 2 much is anyone else open?
