The season isn't over, but there needs to be a serious turn around, bigger than the one we had last year.

run defense is lvp today... they were letting henry look like larry johnson. i also think the titans really outcoached the skins today... before young was hobbled, i think they really kept our defense on its heels with some of the misdirection and boots.

indy's gonna be well rested and at home next week. not looking good at all.

Matty 2 u honestly think this team can turn things around like last year? There is 2 much inconsistency across the board on this team as usual from owner 2 albright

Just got back from the game....

I want to make someone a scapegoat really really bad, but the entire team front to back was awful. Flashes of brilliance on offense followed by the worst defensive outing I've seen in a long time. Some questionable calls throughout the game... but I didn't see it on TV (was the ARE fumble call correct?) Crowd was great, but Brunell got the boo birds like crazy.

We need to get hungry on defense or this season is going to be very very boring.

Anything can happen after the bye week...
You are reaching for any thread of an excuse if you're hoping the fumble calls were the reason we lost to a bad team at home. The calls were correct, and our team deserved to lose. I'd love to see Gibbs send a message with personnel changes, particulary on defense. Let's get Rocky McIntosh out there for Warrick (2 tackles) Holdman. When Springs comes back, I'd move Carlos Rogers back to the bench - the guy is killing us and desperately needs a wake-up call.

What you said there is scary. With a coaching staff comprising 4 former defensive coordinators on D, and 3 former headcoaches on Offense, there is NOOOOOOOOOOO way we should be getting outcoached. I can understand losing because our players aren't executing. But outcoached? Wow. Makes you wonder what the hell is going on!!! Are egos getting in the way here? Buges vs Saunders? Jerry Gray vs Blache? etc. etc.

No faith in execution probably led to some wack ass calls. It's impossible to win with great coaching and pisspoor players and vice verca. I'd like to think its because of lack of faith and not a major coaching problem.

i agree with this make personell changes rocky needs to come in,and rogers needs to be a number 2 guy but andre carter needs to go to lb, to weak to be up front

The question says can we. The answer to that is undoubtably yes. Will we? I'm more optimistic then the average fan (I watched a Raider loss last year at FedEx), but I question whether or not this team has what it takes. Defensively its nothing but problems right now.

I no longer believe that the Indy game has any significance. I almost dont care if we win or lose next week. I thought it was going to be a statement game, but now, not really. The key to this season is to get really hot after the bye week. And it starts with Dallas. Which means we need Brunell through that game.

3-4 or 2-5. What's the difference? We were 5-6 last year. We could be better than that this year 11 games in.

11-5 is still doable. But over the next two weeks, Gregg Willams has to get his unit playing like the team of 2004 and 2005. He's had 6 weeks to show improvement and has yet to do so.

Put me down as very cautiously optimistic right now.
