I wouldn't under-estimate the Titians. They have a decent defense and Vince Young is eventually going to have a big week. Let's make sure its not against the Redskin. If Springs is ready to go, suit him up.

i dont know about vince young eventually having a big week. he has been really, really bad. the titans are weak everywhere except linebackers, and their rbs are decent.

I sorta agree with you. We should be able to beat them without Springs, so I don't want him to get injured. But at the same time, I want our players to take nothing for granted, and that if he gives us a better chance at winning than I would like to see him play, if he can. Plus, if he is healthy, I would think that this would be a great game for him to get his "game mentality" going.

That weak defense held the mighty Colts to 14 points. I saw bits and pieces of that game and the Titians were outplaying the Colts the better part of that game. The Colts came back very late in that game. If the Titians can shutdown Peyton Manning, shutting down Mark Brunnel is a piece of cake.

Furthur, the Redskins do have an advantage that the Colts don't have and that is a very good running game. Clinton Portis and Ladell Betts should be featured this week.

I'd be surprised to see him out there this week. Given that he tweaked his leg last time, and that Hall just got reinjured on a surgically repaired groin, I bet they'll be cautious. Glad to hear he's making some progress, though.

i saw some of that game too. it reminded me alot of the skins/ giants game. the colts had a monstrous advantage in yardage, just couldn't get the ball in the end zone. to say the titans were outplayed the colts, well.... anyway, the skins should be able to run all over the titans. easy victory, with the defense doing enough to confuse the rookie

I don't consider this to be a cakewalk but last Sunday's Colts/Titans lends credence to the phrase "Any given Sunday". We should be in control this game. The Colts aren't as hot as predicted this year. They've played some very close games versus some very bad teams.

People keep bringing up the fact the Titans played the Colts close, but what about some of their other games?

They lost by 7 to the Jets, got hammered by the Chargers 40-7, lost a close one to the awful Dolphins, and then got rocked by Dallas.

I don't think last week is a guarantee they're going to play the Redskins tough. They could just as easily end up another blowout victim.
