Would have been nice if he at least turned around on the TD pass to Smith though.

I thought it was funny how Joey T was bragging on his awareness earlier in the game and how he always plays the ball... I know even the good ones make mistakes. Just sayin'.

Champ on the other hand played very well. I forget how good he is sometimes.

Seeing Champ play so well last night made me long for the days of Bailey and Smoot making life difficult for opposing WRs. I know Champ netted us Portis, but before that, the organization made a monumental gaffe giving franchise money to Lavar. A true shutdown corner is far more valuable than a freelancing LB, and Champ should have received the huge contract before Lavar.

champ didn't get much love while he was here though. 2004 was a terrible defense and he had a bad habit of "tripping" whenever he got beat... and all the bumbling on kick returns (why was he back there?). A lot of local fans thought much less of him than the national media, and there wasn't a whole lot of anger over his departure. He is good though. and you've seen what denver has done with horrid Dlines and good corners (sounds familiar).

i don't think he's all that great either, but i was summarizing for whoever asked what dmek meant. he's better than anyone we're fielding though.
