I have a theory that the Redskins did so well VS the Jags because Saunders has seen the Jags more then the Redskins NFC East opponents.
Does anyone agree at all or am I just thinking too much?
Nah, I don't think that's an issue. If we were talking about his knowledge of the AFC West you might have a point. But teams only play teams outside of the division once every 4 years now. And with all the film that these guys watch, you can easily get up to speed on any team.

I agree but they did not look good Vs The Giants or The Cowboys. I am a die hard skins fan but I just don't know.
Division games are always tough, I don't think it's any reflection on Saunders not knowing the opponents.

i agree that it's something to consider. it probably equates to nothing more than some extra time in the film room though like some people said.

they all study film, regardless of the opponent. our offensive line is the key. they played horrible sunday( other than chris samuels, who i thought had an outstanding game)

Hmmm. Interesting theory. You might have something there!

I doubt it. These guys spend an awful lot of time looking at current film. Also, Huston has a new coach, so that's not someone Saunders had expereince with, and I don't know when he last played against Jax.
I really feel it was all-around execution, rather than scheme trouble last week. We only ran 46 plays, which makes it tough to establish any sort of rhytm on offense. And that's what Saunders' teams thrive on--getting the D leaning one way and going the other. We never got a rhytm to do that.
Remember, it's still early for this team with Saunders scheme. And, as has been noted over and over again, it's a complex scheme. As I said before: it's growing pains, combined with the team's lack of fire on Sunday. They brought the fire and executed against Jax, and you saw what we can do.

don't think so. maybe overconfidence, maybe improper preperation... lots of what-ifs after losses to choose from ;)
