I think you are right. They seem as if they are not happy with what they have seen. He has hardly played a down, maybe non on defense. Williams odviously will let a rookie play. Look at Golston. He let Taylor play some his first year.

When asked about the play of his linebackers GW maintained he was satisfied with their performances thus far. So to continually point out the poor play of any one particular player could be inacurate. We are at this time experiencing poor play across the board from various players at different positions. Singling out one player is not a cure for our overall ills.

Well it's disconsurting to see another draft pick we just had to have can't beat out Warrick Holdman, whether or not Holdman is playing up to par is irrelevant, we gave up picks to get Rocky, if he is incapable of beating Holdman than there is a problem with our ability to evaluate talent.

Could one safely say the same thing about our QB Jason Campbell? It seems to be difficult for him to attain the status of #2 QB as well. We gave up quite a bit to get him also.

Didn't Sean Taylor not start right away either? I mean I don't know that it's a fair assessment to say that because the player isn't starting from day one he's a bust. Doesn't make all that much sense to me to make that correlation

We are slow on defense right now, that is the biggest problem. Mcintosh has speed, therefore play him, it's that simple

Probably more so, but in Campbells defense Gibbs just can't let go of Brunell, he is reserved to the fact that he will not give up until he proves Brunell was a good move. So I don't believe it's campbells inabilities right now because any young QB has to have playing time to really develope, his situation has more to do with Gibbs fascination with his boy Brunell.

Has any one heard if we will see McIntosh playing this week at linebacker

im not a huge "bench holdman" guy, but youd like to think that rocky has worked himself into a few more packages. im not saying holdman has played poorly, but rocky is supposed to be our future at that position.

True, but saftey is a little more complicated than weakside LB, a LB may get beat for a firstdown, where as a saftey gets beat it's a TD, more reads go along with the saftey position as well. I don't think Rocky is a bust but I do think at this point it doesn't make sense to play an inferior LB in Holdman ahead of Rocky, it's time for on the job training.

i agree there. if anything, play an extra LB every now and then and at least get him in some game situations.

if it were that simple don't ya think he'd be playing?

i think he will be 5 times better than holdman anyway, maybe not right now, but he will be
