Summary of what Gibbs said:

Not much new here, saying it was a team loss, and he put alot of blame on himself. He gives the Giants alot of credit, but he said the team played pretty bad. On Special Teams, he said they couldnt make plays. On Offense he said we couldnt run and get it to our playmakers. On D, he said we couldn't stop the run(didn't mention the pass!?!).

But they are worried about the Titans, and his goal is to win two games before the bye week. He is really worried about JH, because JH said he was hurt before the game, and JH mentioned his pain was getting worst throughout the Giants game.

If you replayed the press conference after games one and two you won't find many things different. It's like a broken record really. "We are all in this thing together, it was a team loss, we all need to look in the mirror and see what we can do better as individuals...etc" He better start figuring out a way to light a fire under everyone's ass including his coordinators. It's obvious that the front four cannot get pressure by themselves, they need to bring more blitzes from different directions and change things up constantly to keep offenses off balance and not so confident that they can throw the ball deep at will (and they can right now). Saunders needs to get back to what words first and run CP. 4 yards a carry??? We should have been on the field much longer, kept NYG offense off the field, and given our defense a chance if we had run the ball more. Oh yeah, get rid of that forward option to ARE, are you kidding me?

wow, gibbs actually said something useful in a presser? he actually mentioned that players didn't play well?

nothing new, but that's the first time he's sorta kinda singled people out for doing badly.

You know Gibbs can take ther blame but there are some very well payed players out there doing nothing!!!! Free agency has kill the Skins!!!! There are exceptions like Washington!

we should chart the success rate of big money players and draft picks, and play/pay...

i mean, the first year back, they were on fire. springs, griffin, washington (what a find), drafting taylor and cooley, later depth players like prioleau, stoutmire, daniels, the moss trade, rabach, etc.

blunders - entire 2006 offseason more or less :/ too early still, but so far, only golston stands out as value. maybe posey or rumph, but they're roleplayers at best.

As the women say, men have a one-track mind. Southpaw makes his one thought impossible to miss! ;-)

Shocker that he only made a roundabout comment about the piss poor play from the quarterback position.
