Yeah Mark Cuban and someone else, drawing a blank right now, last week commented that YouTube has no real value but I think that's a bit of an overstatement in and of itself. It obviously has value. Question is how will Google maximize it?

I heard on the radio a month or two ago that Youtube was in the process of getting the rights to just about every music video made under all t he major music labels, I think that would add to the value of the site.

I offered them 67 cents as a downpayment, but they said they needed a better sign of good faith. 67 cents, 1.65 billlion, what's the difference?

I still can't believe they paid $1.6 BILLION for a hosting service with a search function. This site is 10 times more complicated to run.
