This link will take you to an article about an interview held with Vince Lombardi in 1967 that has been "lost" for the last 27 years. If you read it, you will see many similarities in terms of philosophy and organization and direction between Lombardi and Joe Gibbs.

If Gibbs recaptures the magic from the glory days we might start hearing Lombardi and Gibbs mentioned in the same sentence a little more often.

It's pretty fascinating to wonder what might have happened had Lombardi not died after one year coaching the Redskins. How might the history of the franchise been rewritten
