I simply cannot understand how our offense looks so potent one week and so awful the next. It's not the quality of the opponents because we torched a great Jacksonville defense. It's not the location of the game, as the offense has looked good at home and away. I do not believe that Brunell is the main reason why our offense has looked inconsistent. True, Brunell has looked inconsistent, but so has the offensive line.

Thoughts?

It was a dud of a day across the board, just like last year in the Meadowlands but the score wasn't quite as bad.

Every team has a day like this now and then, personally I'm not going to sit here wringing my hands all week wondering if the season is over.

We'll rebound.

I am concerned about the 'D' however, at least the offense has given us some flashes of brilliance, the 'D' has been consistently piss poor especially against the pass.

Our offense and offensive play caller are still adjusting to each other. Don't forget that the Giants really had to win this game and had 2 weeks to prepare for us.

I think our best offense will come down the stretch, but the defense has to stop a few of the balls that just get thrown up as the QB is getting hit. How do they always seem to fall in the hands of open receivers? A turnover would be helpful now and then.

This game, I'll blame it squarely on time of possession. In the second half, their O was on the field twice as long. I guess that's a circular answer, though, since if our O was clicking, we would have had the ball longer. Nonetheless, it seemed like that first 8 minute drive of the second half just destroyed us.

I just read that we had 40 offensive snaps!!!! The defense couldn't get the offense on the field and when the offense did get on the field due to the Giants scoring it couldn't stay on the field.

It really went hand in hand today. We couldn't stop them and we couldn't sustain anything.

Agree that the offense is going to have these sort of days. Their performance was compounded by the D's issues today.

Hopefully we can rebound against the TIT-ans.
