All of the above.

1. Mark Brunnel for not throwing over 100 yards.
2. Offensive line for not protecting Brunnel.
3. The secondary for not covering anyone.
4. Joe Gibbs for not go for it on 4th and one.

If I have to listen to Brunell bashing all week I think I'm going to puke. If you can honestly say that he was the main reason for that loss I'm sorry that's just a very ignorant view.

I'm just going to have to be ignorant, but I've had my fill of Brunnel. Its not this one performance, its an accumulation of lame duck performances going back to when he joined the Skins. He was a weak armed quarterback when he joined the Skins and has gotten worse. He cannot or will not throw the ball downfield. Worthless as a quarterback can be. He was a lame duck in the playoffs and has continued that this year. He had good numbers against the Texans and Jaguars but he was throwing dinks and dunks and his backs and receivers was padding his stats. Teams that have a book on him (Cowboys, Giants and Eagles), don't let him get away with that crap. The Skins are only as good as Brunnel plays and right now they stink.

If he didn't get flagged or fined for anything, who cares? Everyone already knows Taylor is a bit of a punk, but even with as bad as the team played as a whole yesterday, he was the only one who actually tried to make some plays on the defense. I couldn't care less about a mild scuffle or some smack talking if it didn't cost him or the team anything. And I think he was smart, not to comment on it after the game.

His actions guarantee that we'll always get calls for personal fouls and unnecessary roughness. That said, he was burned badly on several pass plays yesterday and missed some tackles. It wasn't ST's best game.

I agree that it wasn't his best game, but he also forced a fumble from a back who's made a point to not fumble in several hundred touches. And I think he solidified getting BS personal foul call when he spit on Micheal Pittman last year.

The thing with Sean Taylor is, the coaching staff has to find a balance between letting him loose and reigning him in. What's the point of having a mad dog on defense if you want him to be a choir boy? As I said, I couldn't care less that he gets into minor scraps, as long as it doesn't result in penalties or suspensions.

Taylor got abused by Burress.

More proof that as a team we completely stunk.

Taylor had no business being one on one with Burress. If he was THAT good at coverage, he'd be a corner. He's only on the #1 receiver when there's a blitz, and the blitzing has been horrible all season. He's going to look just as bad or worse in a couple of weeks in Indy, if he has to cover Marvin Harrison one on one.

Ed Reed and every other good safety in the league are at their best when they can come over the top in coverage and cherry pick. Having to stay stride for stride with a #1 receiver all day would make any of them look bad.

Can I vote for John Hall??

Sources: Kicker Hall on thin ice with Redskins

Despite converting nine of 11 field goal attempts in the first five games of the 2006 season, the job of Washington Redskins (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/clubhouse?team=was) veteran kicker John Hall (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?statsId=4126) is in jeopardy, ESPN.com has learned through league and team sources.

The Redskins, 2-3 after Sunday's road loss to the New York Giants (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/clubhouse?team=nyg), will audition potential replacements on Tuesday at their complex. One candidate to replace Hall is 12-year veteran Todd Peterson (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?statsId=3069), who converted 23 of 25 field goal attempts for the Atlanta Falcons (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/clubhouse?team=atl) in 2005, but was not re-signed. It is believed former Maryland kicker Nick Novak (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?statsId=7505), who was in training camp with the Arizona Cardinals (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/clubhouse?team=ari) this summer, is among the candidates invited to Redskins Park as well.
Hall, 32, joined the Redskins in 2003 as an unrestricted free agent, after spending the first six seasons of his career with the New York Jets (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/clubhouse?team=nyj). But the 10th-year veteran is frequently injured and only once since signing with the Redskins, during the 2003 season, as Hall been able to kick in all 16 games. Because of injuries, Hall appeared in a total of just 18 games in 2004-2005.
Sources agreed that, because some team officials feel they can't always depend on Hall from a physical standpoint, a change could be coming.
The veteran kicker did not appear on the Redskins' injury report following Sunday's game. But in the past, Washington officials have been frustrated by Hall's lack of availability because of injuries. He suffered a hamstring injury that limited him to eight games in 2004 and in 2005 played in just 10 games because of a quadriceps injury.
Coach Joe Gibbs said that, on Saturday, Hall informed him that he was "a little bit tired with his leg." That prompted the Redskins to use punter Derrick Frost (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?statsId=6737) on kickoffs, a chore he has handled in the past. Hall hit one of two field goal tries, missing from 42 yards. In addition to his nine field goal conversions, Hall has made all nine of his extra point tries in 2006.
For his career, Hall has connected on 203 of 272 field goals and 280 of 286 extra points.
Peterson, 36, is believed to be the most veteran kicker who will take part in Tuesday's audition. He has converted 235 of 296 field goals and all but three of his 341 extra point attempts, for 1,043 points. He has scored over 100 points six times in his career.

Yeah, because it was that 17 point field goal that Hall missed, that cost Washington the game...

As far as the article, I can understand why they'd be frustrated with injury, but Hall is fairly reliable when he is healthy. If they cut him, it'll be a flashback to the Norv era when they went through a dozen kickers in two seasons.

Hall can't kick off anymore. We need a placekicker who can kick FGs and kick off.

It looks like the coaches agree with me. It is time to panic. Godspeed John Hall.

Perhaps this will send a message to the rest of these layabouts that it's time to get serious.
