three 1,500 yd seasons talking about the durability of smaller backs and NO mention of our boy.
it's truly just irresponsible "journalism" at that point.

Yeah I saw that too and thought that Portis was a curious ommission.

Actually Portis doesn't fit into the point of his story (if he actually has a point). Portis isn't 200 lbs or 5'6" or something. He mentions Tomlinson because of a common coach.
Still, Len P. is an idiot.
212 is still pretty small nowadays for a RB.
Barber and CP are similar in size, I say if you're under 215 as a RB, that's on the small side.

Clinton is still officially listed as 205, and would've only greatly furthered Len's argument in the article.
ugh the arrogance, he named everyone BUT him.

I was thinking he was still at 212 (still small, but not really small). At 205lbs he should have been mentioned (they mentioned Westbrook...). I'm sure Len wouldn't worry about looking up how much a Redskins running back weighs. I don't think there is any writer out there worse than Len when it comes to Redskin hating.

they mention willis mcgahee, frank gore, deangelo williams, tatum bell, and julius jones, who are all bigger than the 210 pounds that portis says he is.

he mentioned Gore, and CP's Denver replacement Tatum Bell both over 212lbs. he also mentioned Julius Jones who is listed at 211.
c'mon how are you going to have an article about durable, every down running backs that are small and forget to mention Clinton Portis? who in their right mind would call Clinton even remotely 'big'?

I don't even care about these douchebags anymore. Maybe when we spank Tiki and Clinton has a huge game we'll get noticed.
