It’s tough to determine which Giants team the Redskins will face this weekend. Will it be the team that fell to deficits of 35-0 and 42-3 against Seattle? Or will it be the team that came back from a 17-point fourth quarter deficit to defeat the Philadelphia Eagles in overtime during Week 2? The Redskins must be prepared to face the latter. With that in mind, the following keys will be of the utmost importance to the Redskins’ gameplan.

I believe our O-line determines the outcome. If they can get Portis running downhill as they did against the Jags, Brunell won't be faced with many 3rd and longs, which opens up the downfield attack as NY commits a safety to help against the run. And BTW, is there a better lead blocker in the NFL than Mike Sellers? He was blowing guys up last Sunday.

i think the 36-0 game seems like decades ago. we are a totally different team from that game( in a good way) and the giants are totally different team, also( in a bad way) good read. the skins have, for the most part, kept barber in check. and the giants corners are horrible. if our offensive line gives brunell time, we should win easily

Yeah agreed, we'll put points all over the board if Brunell has time to throw. The line protected great against the Jags (no sacks) and fixed the penalty problem. It's quite a bit tougher to do that in someone else's stadium where it's noisy and you're on a silent count, that's the only part that makes me nervous. But if the Skins line keeps penalties to a minimum and keeps Brunell upright for this AWAY game, then not only will they win but I'll be convinced that we're in Super Bowl form.

Nice Work Schneed. I really believe this game will come down to coaching, particularly making adjustments on the fly.
And, I say this with complete impartiality ;), Coughlin and his staff are no match for Gibbs and his gangstas

Very good insight.
2 questions:
1) Will our WR/RB-screens help to combat the speed of their DEs or is good blocking really the only way to handle it?
2) Have you heard anything about Shockey's health? I feel like he's been noticably limping everytime I see him but I haven't heard anything about why.

To be honest...the only people who scare me on the giants are....both DE's Burress and Pierce....the rest of them are a joke....well maybe Tiki as well.....
You havent heard anything about Shockey because they told his big ass to STFU and never to speak again.....
