I just don't see us having a shot in hell at winning a championship with Brunell at the helm For me I'm just like what's the point. Sure he can get us to the playoffs or maybe not, but to win 3 or 4 playoff games is just not in his future. He is just too one demensional. It's frustrating for us to be so back and forth and inconsistent and in my opinion to have no chance seems like a waste of the fans time. Obviously Joe Gibbs feels different so that's that, but it's starting to become obvious to more and more people I think.

Regardless, the game didn't come down to that one play. We played like shit all day long on both sides of the ball.
Oh no doubt. I'm not trying to pin this on one play at all. But I still thought that during one of our few chances we had, during what was a somewhat close game, it was stupid to not take a chance there. Going down 10 wouldnt have helped us at all.

The problems today were much deeper than Brunell.

I blame Brunell more week 1 and week 2, I thought those were games where I can point to Brunell as the reason for why we sucked. I dont really think he helped lose this game anymore than anyone else. This ones on everyone, as usual when we play in NY. We should just forfiet these games from now on and take an extra bye.

This is just embarassing. I'd almost take consistently bad play every week over this back and forth BS. We look Super Bowl-bound one week, next week it's like a bunch of highschool kids playing.
I was totally thinking the same thing.. I am so tired of feeling great about the team for a week, then watching them play like total crap the next week. Losing is understandable, every team will do that, but why can they not play decent each week, instead of looking like this is the first time they have seen a football in their life and then lighting a team up the next week.
So now who do we want to win the Cowgirls/Iggles game?

again, i don't think brunell is the problem. it's the guy calling pass plays on 3rd and 1, and kicking a field goal instead of going for it on 4th and 1 that is to blame. i'm obviously stuck on those two calls.

Pinning this game on Brunell is absurd - there's plenty of blame to spread around. O-line has been pathetic, D-line is lousy, tackling has been bad, blocking has been bad. Coaches, players, everybody just looked like shit today.

I guess. Back to the drawing board.

Brunell is at eternal fault because he's not the playmaker he used to be and Jason Cambpell COULD be.
he's a good QB, but he can't be relied to save a game by himself like most people hope/expect from their starter. its hard for anyone to be hopeful on someone whose definitely on the downside of his career and declining.
