Moss...
And to quote Clinton Portis - "He's the best cross-eyed receiver I've ever met."

He made some huge plays today when we needed him to. The o-line deserves some credit too, they held one of the best d-lines in the league without a sack. 12thMan 10-01-2006, 10:40 PM The man is unbelievable. You get him the ball and he goes straight for a TD.....that's all he thinks about. I feel blessed that he's a Redskin!! I wasn't watching ESPN not too long ago, and Eric Allen (ex-Eagle) said Steve Smith was hands down the best in the NFL. I was like, whoa....first off he and Santana we're neck and neck last year for yds and catches. He beat Moss by like a hair and this year I believe Moss is off to a better start. But for him to say, hands down, obviously he's not watching a lot of football. 70Chip 10-01-2006, 10:45 PM Santana Moss. This is an easy one for me. Beemnseven 10-01-2006, 11:04 PM My vote has to be the offensive line. Clearly, they got sick of hearing all week long about how the Jaguars monster front four was going to eat them alive. Without their superb play, there's no 152 yards rushing, no 329 yards passing from Brunell, and no spectacular play from Santana Moss. Plus, they did not allow a sack. illdefined 10-01-2006, 11:28 PM man i picked Santana just because it's never been clearer how much of a talent he is. all those yards were strictly him, not a perfectly led pass, not a blown coverage, but HIM. you see him press the Madden Spin button on that 1st TD? not only is he fast, he's QUICK, right after the catch and in the open field. corners just can't deal. YAC is a four letter word. that said, the offensive line MADE this game possible. i've never been so proud of them. i dare say a perfect game. A++ Moss just takes it because of the spectacular OT play we ALL were aching for. including the OLine. htownskinfan 10-01-2006, 11:59 PM I'm going to have to go with the off line for the 2nd week in a row, especially on the running game, the right side of the line seemed to be pancaking everybody and opening up huge lanes to run through,I thought i heard the commentators say the jags had only given up an avg of 59 yrds rushing per game so far,we shattered that, great job by the dirtbags SmootSmack 10-02-2006, 12:02 AM I'm going to have to go with the off line for the 2nd week in a row, especially on the running game, the right side of the line seemed to be pancaking everybody and opening up huge lanes to run through,I thought i heard the commentators say the jags had only given up an avg of 59 yrds rushing per game so far,we shattered that, great job by the dirtbags First time in 13 games they've allowed a 100-yard rusher I believe itvnetop 10-02-2006, 12:07 AM Santana had a crazy game and normally, I'd give it to him hands down... but the O-line didn't just do their job today... they dominated. The Jags' D-line was getting blown off the ball nearly every snap. Portis and Betts were churning out yardage like nobody's business because of those holes. I was just shocked at how one sided the line battle was today against a normally stout front. FRPLG 10-02-2006, 01:35 AM Geez...impossible to say. Moss is a threat any time he catches the ball. I take him one on one against any CB in the league. He will score 25% of the time. Brunell played a hell of a game. A game I wasn't sure he still had in him. The O-line is what set it everything up. The have been much maligned this year so I give them the nod here when our offense looked as good as it has since Gibbs has been back. O-line by nose. I like when it is hard to choose one because so many have done so well. |
