They just said it on the halftime show of the Southern Miss/ UCF game, dont have a link...but hey, you can trust me.

I was really hoping he'd be back this week because we really need a guy on defense. I dont think the Jaguars have a great offense, but they can still score some points, and Springs could make a huge difference if in and healthy.

huh?

Anyways, I was hoping he'd be back this game, but apparantly not. I think we'll stop seeing so many big plays once Springs is back on the field. The question is, when is he gonna get back on the field?

I'm thinking probably two more weeks, Mooby.

Yeah, when he first got the injury I figured it wasn't something that would keep him out for a while, but apparantly it is. Springs is a huge part of our defense and it's pretty obvious our secondary needs him back there. I think we should definitely look at getting a cornerback in the draft or through free agency after this season, Springs can't stay healthy, and I would like to keep Kenny Wright as the nickel back instead of Springs' backup.

I am still trying to figure out why they rushed him back for the Texans game. This team really makes no sense sometimes.

I'd rather him sit and be 100% when he gets back. It is a physically stressful position and having him for say 10 games is better than 3 or 4 and then done for the year.

are we all in agreement that one player( s springs) is that big of a difference maker that our defense will change drastically? im not, i dont buy it. although i didnt think portis coming back would make that big of a difference. i was wrong on the that one

We really need CBs. I think that is the weakest link on the team. With the exception on kicking maybe
