I thought it was kind of funny and also very true.... from good ole ESPN..

Quarterback Off the Hot Seat: Mark Brunell

The push to remove Brunell as the Redskins' starting quarterback is over for now thanks to Brunell's setting an NFL record with 22 consecutive completions in Washington's win over the Texans. And looking at Houston's remaining schedule, I'd like to announce future quarterbacks who will have career days and silence their critics: Daunte Culpepper, Drew Bledsoe, Byron Leftwich, Kerry Collins, Eli Manning, Leftwich again, J.P. Losman, Chad Pennington, Aaron Brooks, Collins again, and Charlie Frye. That's the Houston Texans, ladies and gentlemen, proudly keeping mediocre quarterbacks gainfully employed since 2002.

That's almost funny but not quite. Like their advertisements, it just misses. ESPN really sucks. Thank God for Rich Eisen and the NFL Network.

ESPN does not like the Redskins because of their "politically incorrect" name. That's a fact. They'll eventually get to The NFL Network too.

cant we just get over the brunell thing? he will start here for as long as he is here. he is not going to sit the bench at his age. and he is still the redskins best option at winning

What's biased about ESPN's comments? Its true, we're all giggly over the Skins performance, but most of you just dont understand that we played one of the worst teams in the league defense wise. If we beat Jacksonville on the other hand, then we have something to crow about.

That is kind of my thought on the whole thing too..... I mean 22 straight completetions is amazing against any team.. but it is just saying he was close to being run out of Washington (by the fans at least) and playing the Texans has helped him keep his job for another week. If he plays like he did against the Cowgirls and Vikes, we will be calling for JC again.... I thought the comment about "the Texans, keeping mediocre QB's in the league since 2002" was hilarious....
