It is too early in the season to even start thinking how teams will finish and who will be at the finish line but Skins didnt get the start they wanted and stiff competition all in the NFC its time to put things in perspective to know what were looking at. Im thinking
Chicago 13-3 (home field, divisional benefit)
Seattle 12-4
**There is the likely outcome that Atl or Caro could finish 11-5 but we need both at 10-6 or less. This will be crucial for wildcard vacancy.*****
Minnesota 11-5 B/c they see GB,Det,NYJ,STL,SF,AZ--they have it cake.
Redskins-11-5 And that is with many miracles**** We would lose tie to Minn.
Dallas 9-7 *miracle
NYG 9-7 *miracle
Phi 8-8 *miracle
Everyone in the NFC east is gonna destroy each others records and health to make it, we already lost round 1 and are still at the bottom. If that doesnt motivate our guys I dont know what will. And the East is going to be within reach all during the season.

There will be more miracles needed for the Skins to get into the playoffs than what I usually witness to happen. It seems wildcard will be already spoken for by better record and less deserving teams like Minnesota, and either Atl or Carolina. Carolina surely has the tougher schedule and could be a victim to miss out. I think from here on out Dallas, Philly, NYG, Skins are gonna be dead even on the schedule, hopefully philly will be the sure team to drop and wont recover but I dont see that unfolding till midseason, Dallas will not live past their Giants game, Giants will probably run neck and neck with us if we overcome our part of the schedule. Meaning we are both 1-2 , but we have already lost a divisional game and havent seen the colts yet (probably our toughest game, not physical, but toughest to win). The Skins def. have to battle but our bye is pushed back this year, if we do make it to the playoffs who knows what type of shape the team will be in, its just another hurdle to overcome.

From here on out we will know how we stand on these matters because we cant afford to drop another one before the bye week. And after the bye we have 4 more divisional games, Im saying it is crucial now, b/c it will be so hard not to topple later.
Already week 3 and the drama is choking me.

Plus,
I have gone 48 hours without a cigarrette and I am really freaking out between the constant body chemistry going haywire and the voices in my head saying time for a smoke and these Redskins are freaking tight roping probability. Not a good combination to stay sane.

At this point in the year, They just need to win the division.
They have to earn a playoff spot and not worry about other people.

I feel you. I'm paying WAY too much attention to these redskins. I have ADHD and I'm prescribed Adderral (same drug catagory as speed) for it which keeps me up this late (plus having all evening classes doesn't help). My brain hurts and it's no fun...

So i've got all the same voices...

I'm really thinking we can suprise these Jaguars. We'll def. be the underdog and they've got alot of hype. I'm not really confident, but I anticapate players like ARE and CP making a difference. We have the tools to make a run. Just hoping theories become actualities. I'm gunna drink a few more beers and hopefully will be able to fass the puck out.

jacksonville has a tough defense but their offense doesnt scare me at all. if we play mistake free football, we win. its pretty simple

Why worry about other teams? We need to win, it's that simple. We need to beat everyone in the AFC South, NFC East, and NFC South.

I'd prefer we just keep both eyes on our next opponent.

It's still very tempting to think about other things that could play to our favor as the season unfolds, provided that we take care of business:

Tampa at 0-3 plus Chris Simms probably down for the year doesn't look good for them.

The Giants could potentially unravel internally. I think all the internal bickering and Eli's last minute heroics will catch up with them. At least I'm hoping so.

The Seahawks will be without Alexander the Great for at least a month. That has to hurt no matter how you slice it.

You figure these were three teams that were in the playoffs last year that could have problems this year.

BUT we have our things to tend to for now.
