And I think Saunders was game-planning to get the ball out of Brunell's hands with short passes ASAP. I don't think he's confident that the line can protect Brunell well enough for 7-step drops and to get off long bombs. The line didn't let up a sack this weekend, but that was more because Brunell got rid of the ball so quickly. Once I see the line holding up on blitzes and giving Brunell enough time to go deep to Moss, then I'll applaud them. The run blocking was stellar though. Props for that. Whether they are 5 yard passes, screens, or bombs, 22 in a row is nothing to scoff at. He needed to step up against a weak team, and did so. If the option would have been Portis/Betts, I would have voted for them as a whole. 32 carries, 210 yards rushing and 3 of our 4 TDs.
