Great gameplan so far. Short quick hitting high percentage passes to get Brunell's confidence going, and they're leaning heavily on the ground game.
Bingo. It's all about everyone's confidence with Al's system. If we hold on for this win, that will be a tremendous boost.

I'll take the 14/14 on Brunell but I do remember him throwing one out of bounds and a guy for the Texans on the sidelines caught it. Wiped out by holding.

No. The Texans defense is not good. But remember, there is NO such thing as an easy road game in the NFL. It is far easier to have offense at home than on the road. So for this team to go into Houston and put up 21 in the first half is really impressive.
I also love how Saunders is mixing in more multiple TE formations. It's keeping the offense unpredictable, keeping Brunell on his feet and in rhythm, and keeping the chains moving.
I hear ya. I am not crapping on 21 unanswered points. As far as I am concerned, the 1st two games are still preseason games. What I saw, I did not like. Your road game theory would hold true for most teams, but I really do not think this is true for the Texans. I will believe that the more we do this week, the harder it will be for Jacksonville to prepare. This game (home or away) is the easiest of the next ten.

Give Brunell credit when deserved. He played a good first half.

On a side note: Frost is actually looking like an NFL punter. I think Matty has been putting a bug in his ear.

16/16. Also, no one believed me when I said that Randle El would be more involved in the offense than Lloyd. Watch a long bomb to Lloyd here...

For the record, Rich Gannon holds the consecutive completions record at 21 set in 2002.
Brunell for MVP? (kidding)
