The Jacksonville game could get brutal if we don't turn it around this week vs. Houston. If we do, it should be a thriller. Jacksonville might be the best team in the AFC.

RJ2kWJ 09-19-2006, 03:04 PM Why talk about just their D? They put up almost 400 yards on one of the other best D's in the land. Matt Jones is an absolute monster and Fred Taylor is looking amazing. steveo395 09-19-2006, 04:50 PM I agree with the negative points comment. Their run stop is insane, and Willie Parker is faster than anyone in our backfield, including #26. Granted they were playing at home on Monday night, but we're in trouble when they come to town. They will have yet another vulnerable QB (mobility-wise) for our D to go after. It will be our 4th in 4 weeks actually, with David Carr this Sunday. SO CAN WE PLEASE GET TO THE QB DAMN IT!!! Andre Carter, show me something for all that money. Where did our vaunted "exotic blitz schemes" go???? if andre carter cant get a sack against the texans, he blows...not only does their o-line already suck, but their left tackle is out for the year now and mike flanagan, their center who is a pro bowler, might not be playing either. Monkeydad 09-19-2006, 04:59 PM Damn, the Jaguars are looking really really good. My god, if possible, with the offense we have, we might be the first team in NFL history to score negative points. Only on defense. Their D is one of the best in the NFL but their offense isn't. Their perfomance against the Steelers is NOT typical of them, and even with a great day by Leftwich, they scored 9 points. Leftwich is not that great, their RB Taylor can hurt himself drinking Gatorade and their best receiver just retired. Isn't Kyle Brady still their TE too? :D D'BOYZ 09-19-2006, 05:32 PM ohh God this is 2 funny last week you where giving crap on Dallas of losing this game and the way Drew play ( heck at least we did way better than the SB champs) and now you're giving props to this team and basically sound like scared mice's. Yeah it will be a verry tough game and it will all come down to defense not offense it will come to who makes the mistakes. Monkeydad 09-19-2006, 05:43 PM ohh God this is 2 funny blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah God doesn't listen to Cowboys fans. :D 5RINGS 09-19-2006, 06:07 PM Why talk about just their D? They put up almost 400 yards on one of the other best D's in the land. Matt Jones is an absolute monster and Fred Taylor is looking amazing. They have it going on on D thats for sure. Mind you Dallas was getting their way with them in the first quarter and were close to blowing them out before our line went screwy and Bledsoe.... well we know what happens when he gets rattled. But Fred Taylor didn't get much at all vs our D. He got some mop up yards at the end of the game but he isn't your worry - he'll probably be hurt by then anyway - the worry is Leftwich. He will stay in the pocket till the last moment and he has some huge targets to hit. I think you have to use their youth against them. Get real exotic on D. Show them things they haven't yet seen. Run the ball to win the time of possession battle. They will kill you when your D is out there for too long. dmek25 09-19-2006, 07:55 PM 5rings coming with good, honest, evaluation. thanks for the insight |
