if we beat houston, doesn't mean shit, except we prove we can beat a very bad team........
That's a start though. You have to beat somebody.

Why dont we use he no-huddle?TheMalcolmConnection 09-20-2006, 03:56 PM if we beat houston, doesn't mean shit, except we prove we can beat a very bad team........ That's a start though. Redskins need to put those motivational posters you see in middle school up on the walls. : There is no I in team. Shoot for the moon, you'll land amoung the stars stuff like https://www.100plusposters.com/images/EULdrshpRush.jpg then we'll be fine. dall-assblows 09-20-2006, 04:13 PM if we beat houston, doesn't mean shit, except we prove we can beat a very bad team........ true, but it does give the team some confidence and show them that they can beat a team and the offense does work 70Chip 09-20-2006, 04:19 PM The advantage for us using no huddle now is that it would take the play calling away from the coaches somewhat. It might also prevent the coaches from using their personell packages which tips off their plays. We tend to run out of run formations and pass out of pass formations. It may also create more urgency in the hearts and minds of the players. The negatives are that if you are unsuccessful you put your defense back out on the field faster and that offensive linemen hate it. I think we need to get back to basics first with the power running game and play action. I would say that our offensive problems are two in number: 1. No running game, and 2. Predictability of play callling. RobH4413 09-21-2006, 03:24 PM The advantage for us using no huddle now is that it would take the play calling away from the coaches somewhat. Give the ball to portis, and when it isn't in his hand...it should be a hot potato... and that's where Brunell needs to step up once he's given the oppurtunity. If we run the ball well and Brunell still is looking 10 years too old, then a QB controversy should arise. I'm actually starting to get excited for the offense again. I see a feast ahead of the famine. HTTR. skinsguy 09-21-2006, 05:14 PM if we beat houston, doesn't mean shit, except we prove we can beat a very bad team........ It could be the difference between having a playoff season and having one of the worst seasons in Gibbs' history. hooskins 09-21-2006, 05:24 PM We are not doing it because its too easy. |
