hate to say it but san fran was onto something by trying to convert carter to a LB....he a little smallish to play DE in the NFL.

Didn't SF switch to a 3/4 base? In that case he is really small to be taking on Tackles Every down.

Switching Ellis to LB has really improved the Dallas Defense. Sure he is a bit of a liability in the flat, but he is a 275lb run stopping meance on the strong side who can rush the passer.

He's like a train wreck to me. I can't take my eyes off this

Funny how they are talking about him understanding the scheme and working on being in the right place and not making mental mistakes. Where have I heard this stuff before?

Arrington has NEVER been a good football player ,, NEVER . He makes a few big hits , gets a big return on an int. and thats it . He never made a tackle on third and short during all the close games we lost , and he only made 1 big sack when we needed one < K. Warner > . Great athlete , average lb at best . Maybe if he had been in 3-4 defence he could have been scary ? Hope he can stay healthy , and hope he looks lost when we kick the giants ass !

Lavar's problem is that he thinks he's smarter than he is, he thinks he's funnier than he is and he thinks he's a better player than he is. Maybe if he had shut up and taken advice from some excellent coaches he would have turned out better. Let's remember, it was not only Williams and Lindsay that found him lacking, but Marvin Lewis basically flat out gave up on him. Bottom line is good riddance.

how about we try to focus on the players that the redskins have, not some washed up linebacker thats just about out of this league

omfg i have seen it all now. LA is now on inside the nfl blasting the skins again. He needs to concentrate on football.

Nice Dogtag... wish him well.... why down the man

LA asked to leave the Redskins organization and he did just that. In my book that makes him water under the bridge. When you leave an organization of your own free will, you don't come back. To do so implies that you failed in your preferred career path choices.

Don't look for him to come back after all the bridges he burned with the Redskins organization.

Other than that, I wish him well in life.

Yeah I watched that last night. I like how Costas wouldn't let him run away from the questions. I like how Lavar said that there was no system to play in here, he's the coolest ! I can't wait until the 8th, he will be the reason the Giants lose that game.

It continues to really shock me how MANY talented players through ridiculous decisions, and actions wind up on the wrong side of a coach, team or the law thus ending what is everybody's idea oa a "dream life".

"Can I supersize that for you today?"

I do remember one awesome play LA made ... he was at Penn St. and it was something like 4th and 1. he timed the snap so well, that he jumped over the o-line, and tackled the ball carrier immediately. it was pretty sweet ... anyone else remember that?
