Sean Taylor must be bummed. I don't think he got flagged!

Owens did, on his FIRST play.

Dallas had a lot of dirty plays flagged...started by Owens trying to take out someone's knees on the first play.

The skins will win when they wake up and to the fact that they are not the second coming of " the greatest show on turf " . We do not have a franchise qb , we have 1 not two great wr's < loyd is having trouble getting off press coverage > and our Tackles struggle against the better speed rushers . The cowgirls backup DE's got more pressure all night than Carter or Danials . Hopefully we can run all over and through Tx on Sunday . Our D should be fine , looks like Houston lost two OL - men yesterday . Dallas still sucks !

I think one of the flag that pissed me off the most was when Thrash got called for holding on a kick return. I was pissed because I feel like he made the team over someone like Espy because of his ST play. If he really is such a special teams beast he shouldn't be holding.

Another cool stat to be proud of: With about 7 minutes left in the game, we had 117 yards in penalties. Our offense had a grand total of 138 yards at that point. That means our offense racked up a mere 21 yards more than the penalty yards.

Now that's a scary stat. I wonder if any team in NFL history has had their penalty yardage exceed their offensive yardage. Maybe we could shoot for that record next week against Houston.

Oh, I almost forgot.

Longest play was 24 yards, and we had a 3rd down conversion rate of 14%.

More nifty stats.

The amount of penalties I originall wrote is wrong. When I read the stats there were 40 total penalties. Just checked again and saw that it now reads Washington 11 penalties and Dallas 8. Sorry guys I only read the stats from NFL.com. Seemed like there were more then 19 penalties though. Either way this must change.

Only 19 total?

It seemed like 40 in the 1st quarter alone. EVERY PLAY for a while. It was nuts.
