Sounds like the downgrade may be just a technicality more than anything. If a player doesn't practice he's downgraded. Simple as that. I still think we'll see him sunday night, but I'd like to see Duckett get some touches too.

Hopefully we can bring him in for garbage time to salt away the clock. ;)

Hate to say it but I think we can survive without Portis for a week or two.

I'd much rather have Springs or Prioleau back.

Agreed!

We have 2 legitamate starters we will be fine without Portis. I seriously doubt this a major concern for Parcells.

I think Joe is trying to motivate Clinton rather than trying to deceive the competition. Joe knows Clinton can tough it out. Just wants to see him back in practice. Clinton, however, is smart enough to smell what Joe is cooking up. Maybe a little like the TO/Tuna game.

I agree with MJG - I don't get why he was in there at all if he wasn't 100%. It's not like we're lacking for RBs right now, and if he can't go full tilt, then he's not that much better an option than the rest of the group. Plus, the risk of prolonging the injury is heightened.

what this means for all of you who don't understand this game is that you just became even more one dimensional than before. 4 FG's? Against the Vikings? Tsk tsk, gonna be a sad day in D.C. come Monday. When that weird albino monkey Williams tries to blitz the crap out of Bledsoe again like last time, we'll just keep dumping it over the middle to T.O. and let him do his thing.

and tell me genius, just what is this game you refer to? Did Parcells ever say T.O. wouldn't be playing? No, he didn't. So what the hell are you talking about? Get a clue.
