Strictly for 5Rings:

Andy Farkas, Turk Edwards, and Sammy Baugh, led the Redskins to NFL titles in 1937 and 1942, and the three SBs HOF Coach Gibbs won with three different QBs, gives our storied franchise five as well, and a lengthier history.

We've got 5, you've got 5. But did I mention we've got a HOF Coach with a jacket of gold?

But what's MOST important is that we won both last year. If we win both this year, I don't want to see ANY Cowboy fan saying anything about five rings or how they owned us in the late nineties and early two-thousands. It's all about last season and the present. That's all that matters. Those Super Bowls in the 90s weren't relevant for the Skins or the Cowboys last year, so let's keep that as part of history that you're proud of for a team, it's definitely NOT something you can talk trash with.

Because THOSE teams are not the teams playing this Monday. It's the same Cowboys who got swept last year by the Redskins BOTH times. It's not Aikman, Smith or Irvin. It's not Rypien or Monk.

The winner will get their bragging rights at about eleven o' clock Monday night.

Agreed.

Now can I talk some more trash?

I expect to invoke the droit de seigneur after Dallas wins on Sunday. When I arrive for my Nov 5th coronation I expect full cooperation.

withthe way bledsoe looked sitting on the sidelines during the second half, cowboys fans better hope he sat out of practice all this week. In fact, he should probably sit out of pregame warmups, because that back's not looking too good.

I loved LA. It hurt to see him go, but his legs were shot. He couldn't block if his man moved laterally with any quickness at all.

I think everyone is all excited about ROmo because he is more mobile than Bledsoe (so are most people under 45) and the O Line has yet to prove itself. So the thinking is that he could avoid the rushers that our line is going to let through.

I don't know that an unsigned FA from Eastern Fricking Illinois is the second coming. What I would love to see from Romo is some mop up duty this year and next and then try for the starting spot.

Romo has done squat in the L.

ASHBURN, Va. (AP) - Washington Redskins coach Joe Gibbs has ruled running back Clinton Portis out for Sunday's game against the Dallas Cowboys.
Gibbs says Portis didn't practice today and -- quote -- "If a guy doesn't practice, he's not going to play."
Gibbs says Ladell Betts, T.J. Duckett and Rock Cartwright will be the running backs against the Cowboys.
Portis has been downgraded from questionable to doubtful on the injury report, with Gibbs citing soreness from the pounding Portis took from playing in the season opener against Minnesota on Monday night.
But the announcement by Gibbs took Portis by surprise, saying that he thought it was a game-time decision and that his "bag's packed and ready to go to Dallas."
Last week, Portis spent several days downplaying his chances to make the season opener, but rushed for 39 yards and a touchdown against the Vikings.
