I now have a good understanding of why season ticket holders sell their seats to opposing teams fans or anyone else that will buy them. Thanks to everyone for clearing that up for me.
Can't standup at FedEx?irish 09-13-2006, 06:56 AM I now have a good understanding of why season ticket holders sell their seats to opposing teams fans or anyone else that will buy them. Thanks to everyone for clearing that up for me. Luxorreb 09-13-2006, 07:34 AM Stand up, be courteous, love your brother REDSKIN, but ofcourse #1 rule don't be a dipshit and don't start fights and don't get in others way. Otherwise I'm going str8 to the ushers/cops cause you don't deserve to be there. I worked long and hard to get and pay for my tickets. And I'm sure many people did. Don't ruin it for others. And by the way, there's a football game going on out there that we're supposed to be cheering for!!! Daseal 09-13-2006, 07:51 AM Standing up for the first play and getting threatened won't help me be courteous. I'm standing up for defense, go to the ushers all you want, because unless I'm being agressive, there's NOTHING they can do. There's no policy saying you can't stand up. MTK 09-13-2006, 08:28 AM I just think it's ridiculous to think that people want to go to a football game to SIT DOWN and watch the game, and even worse they expect everyone around them to do the same. What is this world coming to?? Seriously, just stay home. Daseal 09-13-2006, 08:54 AM And I always wondered why a 92,000 person stadium stayed so quiet for a majority of games. GhettoDogAllStars 09-13-2006, 08:58 AM wow. all I can say is wow. there are actually people who DON'T want the crowd to be rowdy? and they call themselves fans? wow. firstdown 09-13-2006, 09:36 AM I didn't think it was all that loud compared to last year. I think the fact that it was a primetime game with more/longer commericals, it was harder to stay loud. I also dont think that the lackluster pre-season helped. One think though, I was in the upper level last night but the lower level for the Chicago game, so maybe that's why last year seemed louder. In the upper level it just does not seem as loud as in the lower levels. My brother-in-law has great upper level tickets right on the 50 yard line. They have a great view of the game because your looking down and can see the plays develop and you can still make out all the players. The only problem with upper level is that you do not get the full effect of being at a live game and feel a little removed from the action. There is no doupt that the lower levels give a better game atmosphere. Now with standing up the whole game is a bit much I do stand on all the big plays and can make plenty of noise sitting. I would stand the whole game if everyone else is but that is just not the case. The comment on the jumbo tron telling everyone to stand up and make noise I've only seen it tell people to make some noise. When I'm at home watching a game I never sit it just to passive for watching the Skins play. NAVYSKINSFAN 09-13-2006, 09:53 AM I live out of town now but when I used to go and when I get the chance to go I am rowdy, loud, and standing. and I don't drink at all! If I want to see every play and move of the game I would watch it at home that is not what being at the stadium is all about onlydarksets 09-13-2006, 10:11 AM I think that everyone should realize that, absent special circumstances you should expect to stand up before the game, during break, during big offensive plays, and 100% of the time on defense at a football game. Unless the person in the couple of rows behind you is elderly, handicapped, or a child, you don't owe them anything different. That said, I hope that everyone would agree that if the person behind you is unable to stand, you would respect their needs. Ric-va-redskins 09-13-2006, 10:31 AM We need to make a redskins shirt that says something on the back to the effect that I will Stand during the game. |
